ATM is always down, and the management is horrible. Do not recommend if you are looking for a good place to bank. Run from this place! Look at all the previous reviews. Every time they respond with they will “investigate further” and act like they can’t find their own members lol. How long does it take to fix an ATM and get a better manager? Years apprently…

The ATMs are always down at the South Carolina locations. We are now at another week waiting on your ATM in Simpsonville to be fixed. I have sent two mails to the company without response.

I have been a customer since 1998, decided to close my account recently and they made it very difficult to do. They want you to show up in person. It would cost me more in gasoline to drive to the nearest location than I have in my account. Their customer service stinks; I have been disappointed in them before, but never again.

In and out with a deposit transaction. Only one teller serving at my visit but she was pleasant and friendly.

I keep holding on hoping they will replace the dull, rude staff here but don’t seem like it’s going to happen. It’s like funeral home in there. Time to go elsewhere after 4 years of waiting.

So I use to love this bank. I have a checking, saving, and credit card through them. I also had gotten a loan, I paid the loan off early. They left the loan on my credit report until they decided to switch their credit card to a very sketchy company. So other than my car loan, they closed the only two credit lines I had opened on the same exact day so they destroyed my credit score. I’m going to end up having to close the new credit card through Elon because they are terrible.

When Elan began servicing our cards, the credit bureaus accurately reflected that the Sharonview account had been closed, just as when a vehicle loan is paid off and there is a closed account. The bureaus will be updated in 30-60 days of being transferred to Elan. Any temporary impact to your credit score should level out at that time. Do not, I repeat do NOT do business here. ATM down again. Don’t know why I even try stopping there anymore. The workers there are rude and unbothered. Go somewhere that will value your money not make it impossible to get to. Obscene.

The website is very easy to use, HOWEVER... its near impossible to contact this branch by phone without jumping thru all kinds of hoops. Our other credit union in NC is VERY accessible, and you can actually call and talk to someone at the branch if there is an issue. Not so with Sharonview. I am considering moving my money somewhere else. I dont have all day to play phone tag. ***UPDATE... The branch manager called me in person the day after I posted this review. She was very helpful and apologetic. I have therefore changed from 2 stars to 3 stars. I maintain it at 3 stars because I still believe that customers should be able to reach the branch by phone when they have an issue. But kudos to the Wade Hampton branch for being quick to respond to my review.***

Charlotte is just the worst. Sketchy business practices. Moved my accounts to Bank of TR this week. Look at the previous few reviews. This place is obviously missing the mark when it comes to “member experience”... Charlotte talks down on others in front of me as a member and it hurt me for others. That’s no manager! Don’t talk about other employees in front of customer!!!

Stay away from Charlotte M or Jean on Wade Hampton Blvd. My sister and I came in looking for an auto loan for her first car and the teller Jean was very rude and Charlotte seem distracted the whole time and we didn't feel she put us first as customers. We took our business to TC Telco down the street and had a much better experience.
