Stop, Look no further. Several months ago I was looking for a lender doing Refinances of mortgages. After a lot a research I found Fairway Mortgages, to my surprise they had a local Branch. JD Powers gave them great ratings better then other lenders commonly used. I called and spoke with Seth for awhile. He said he would help us and he did. That same day he took my application over the phone even though it was near closing time. Seth has assembled a team of great young professionals. They help you every step of the way. They cross cover each other so you can always reach someone. Your NOT kept in the dark like many banks and other online lenders. Your calls and emails are answered same day. So why use a local branch of Fairway Mortgages: 1: they live where you do. 2: they know the real estate market so they can easily relate to the issues that may arise. 3: they know the housing inventory, realtors and what risk to assume. 4: they establish relationships with their clients which is important in this day of antisocial media (aka: social media) 5: they work hard and follow through because their reputation means something. Stay local! 6: Seth has trained his team, and empowered each of them to solve the problem at hand for the customer when they call. Meaning when you call, whoever you talk to will solve the issue or route your concerns to appropriate member of the team and solve the issue. In Spite of a few glitches, Seth kept me informed, patiently answered all my calls, explained in detail the process, and most of all he KEPT his promises. Rare these days. Look no further. I had several bad experiences beginning this refinance in May 2020, with national lenders who made major mistakes and didn’t own their mistake. Whether buying a home with a new mortgage or trying to refinance an existing mortgage call Seth Reeves! I don’t think you will be disappointed.
