John is unprofessional, rude, and incredibly off putting. Screamed at me on the phone when I asked for an email after paying, refused to send any emails. Forgets the calls are recorded which my lawyer can have access too if requested. Sad employees here think being mean and trying to scare you will work, if anything it does the opposite. I continued to call back until I was able to speak to a manager and resolve my issues but I can't wait to never deal with them again after being yelled at on the phone for no reason when all I did was ask reasonable questions.

I called to settle a collection I had with an apartment that I didn’t agree with. After explaining my story I was transferred to Mattie, who helped me settle. I paid the next day and a couple days later picked up my paid in full letter from the office. Everyone I spoke to, a total of three people, was courteous and helpful. Waiting for it to be removed from my credit in a few months, but so far so good.

Terrible experience. I paid the balance I had with this company back in March. Account still shows on my credit and as of June 2017 was verified I still have an unpaid balance. I provided an email and corrected mailing address, as I asked for a letter that states the balance has been paid in full and NOT Settled. Still as of 7/26/17 account is reflecting unpaid. I even went as fair as disputing the balance and someone from Sentry politely told Experian no the amount is still unpaid and due. I'm sure my credit card statement would beg to differ. I did the right thing and as a token to doing the right thing I get the run around. Good luck to anyone who has an account with this company.

They are rude for one. My debt was $2,100.... they added on $1,300 more... that adds up to $ $3,400.... they wouldn't work with me, they yelled on the phone, they garnished my wages and have taken $7,000 ... they just keep saying there are more fees...I'm having to lose everything because of them. But I just retained a lawyer to go through it.

It's never good needing to contact a collection agency. I paid the 2000 and asked they send a letter to the credit agency to get it taken off. They sent me a copy of the letter they sent and it said that it could take 60-90 days and that its up to the agency to decide if they want to take it off or not. Well it's been 30 days and it is now off my wife's credit report!! I may be butchering the name, but I worked with someone named Tanaysha I think and she was great! Ask for her!

All of the reviews are true. They are the worst people EVER. And I used to work as a debt collector and I NEVER did business like this! My husband had an eviction on his report and I called in to speak with them. They said I would have to have him confirm so I put him on and they said our marriage wasn't real and they couldn't speak with me even AFTER he gave them permission to speak with me. That Debra B**** was just straight up rude and all we tried to do was talk. She hung up on us. So we just went to the courthouse, got the eviction revoked and sent it to TransUnion. It was removed from credit and they can kiss my a**!! I'll bet they won't say half the crap they say in person! They are the rudest of rudest. They think people don't know their rights! Soon as you threaten to sue, they will tone that crap down!

I don't want to make a blanket statement. However, the reviews speak for themselves. I just can't do it. I have the funds, but don't think they'll follow through. They are all kinds of special. Just wait it out people. Pay off your other credit cards, get it to 30% of usage and be easy on applying for new loans. It's really not worth it to take a chance on these guys following through. Good luck and spend wisely. (Mine was from Green Street Realty) (Bogus Security Deposit Dispute)

If you are using this company to collect money I recommend you look elsewhere. I called to start making payments after they sent a judgment out with the wrong name. So I could of just let it sit there for ever and never pay, but I decided to call and try and start paying on it. I am over the hurdles that caused me to get behind in the first place. They informed me they only way they would start payments is with half down. Roughly $1,100 dollars. If I had $1,100 dollars I most likely would not have a judgment. So if you want a company to collect your money, use one with people that make sense.

A collection agency that doesn't bother to contact a person before throwing invalid debt on their credit report. They will attempt to charge you overblown amounts they seemingly pull out of the air, and charge accounts as individual that are not so they can collect many times even the supposed amount of debt. Talk about completely shady and unethical and unwilling to admit mistakes. Only someone that shouldn't be in business would use this type of collection agency.

They would not work with me on a payment arrangement. My payment was slightly late and they immediately submitted for wage garnishment. Do not be quick to make arrangements, they are quick to start wage garnishment. Both people I talked to were rude, no customer service skills at all and no compassion for working with real people in real situations.
