    I recently had an emergency come up that put me in a pretty rough spot . I walked into security finance and told them what was going on. The very first thing i told them was that i had poor credit but was working on fixing it. They ran my credit report immediately then had me go through standard questions. (Why do i need the loan..what do i do..what is my income..) after discussing this at length they asked that i provide copies of my taxes, bank statements, emails, etc. After sending them all of my information i had to sit there while they discussed my finances and income as if i weren't still sitting in the same room.(very unprofessional) Apparently they seem to think that they know more about my situation than i do. Then they come back to me(its been over an hour now) and tell me that they are denying me due to the credit report. I'm fine with that. What i am not fine with is the fact that i told them about my credit when i walked in the door and its the first thing they pulled. Why make me wait, and more importantly, why ask for so many financial documents from me if the credit report had already determined that i was denied. Seems really shady to me. When i tried to address this concern with the staff, I was met with a blanket answer and condescending attitudes. THESE PEOPLE DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS COMFORT LEVEL, PRIVACY, OR TIME. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

    During the pandemic, I asked for deferred payments as I had stopped working and didn't have money at the time. I had always paid on time or ahead of time. This was the ONLY company that told me I could split a payment but had to catch up within the month. This lead me to call THREE other companies and renegotiate terms to catch up so I could make the difference in payments here. I called in this morning for updates on credit reporting and find out that their manager was let go and I wouldn't have had to deal with that headache of renegotiating and paying interest on THREE OTHER bills and payments. Was just told to call cooperate. I had to break down and explain my grievances during a pandemic only for it to be a moot point because MANAGEMENT in your staff didn't know what they were doing. I will never use your services again, nor will I recommend you and wish I had the rest of my loan cancelled without penalty or negative report because of your gross incompetence. You've cost me more money in the long run and won't be held accountable. Your empty and useless apologies will cost me hundreds or thousands in the long run. Absolutely ridiculous.

    So I called 2 wks ago explaining I am setting up ebill autopay. Thet gave me their address and my bank is mailing the payment. I have had account altogether over 7 yrs. I have called to confirm the situation everyday and they call me 2 more times a day. I asked to speak to the manager she is on a call. So immediately she calls me back and stats she is leaving after her call and will not talk to me. Worst customer service ever. Worst manager I have ever dealt with.. Do not go to these ladies they do not care

    This loan company Financed a loan for me a couple different times . I repaid each time and was okay with the extremely high interest rate because I needed the money quickly. As a repeat customer you would think that you would have a good repore with the collectors , but at this particular location history does not matter. I admit sometimes the due date does not fall on a payday for me so I have to pay late but always ALWAYS happily pay late fee. But let me just warn you, the ladies they have in the office here begin calling the day after your due date & God forbid you dont answer even though you've told them you dont take personal calls at work because they will call REPEATEDLY ! Then even after being a faithful customer for years , if you still do not speak with them and in my particular case even if you have already given them a promise to pay date , They will impose your personal businesx on the references you provided. Mind you this happens every month , and Im only talking at the most 7 days past due date !!!

    Here is what Maverick Finance is not telling you. If you get a loan for $1000.68 and on a 12 month plan you pay back $128.00 per month totaling $1,536.00. However, when you make your first payment, you pay $500.00 which should equal you paying $44.61 in interest and $83.39 in principal. Here is what Maverick Finance do, you pay them $500.00 in your first month and they break that down to $128.00 payment for months you have not used. If you borrowed $1000.68 with finance charges of $535.32 and divided that up in 12 months that comes to $44.61 so when I paid $500.00 the $44.61 should have gone to interest and $455.39 should have gone to principal. What they do is take the $500.00 and equal them out for several months taking interest from months you have not used. So you take $128.00 each month until the $500.00 is used up which would total (3 payments) $384.00 for full payments and $116.00 partial payment. Out of this they will take $44.61 out of all 4 payments including the partial payment. So, on your principal you only paid $321.56 and not $455.39 which is a difference of $133.83 for months you have not used the funds. This is not a traditional installment loan good once are like your mortgage or credit card payments. You pay $500.00 and they only take the interest for that month not for future months. If you can avoid Maverick Finance do so, if you have no choice then go for it.

    Went into this location recently, very misleading on website and also talk about all your personal information in front of everyone. Very humiliating and not helpful. Don’t go to this place.
