This was 5 stars until today. They have an Android app where you can make payments. I borrowed $355 and change on the 20th of August this year. I paid it back today. $393 and change. I called yesterday. Tory told me the payoff balance was $396. I wanted to walk my payment in to get a receipt. She didn't offer to tell me they were closing at 5pm, hence the reason why she offered to take my payment over the phone. I had called at 4:59 from my home, got there and they were closed. Today I figured, the agent did tell me that after the first 5 days, interest accrued daily until my first billing cycle then once monthly afterwards. In my mind, I figured I would have to pay $400 to pay off my loan. I paid it online. I called to make sure I didn't owe anything else. The lady said, that they don't take overpayments. She was going to email her supervisor to have my payment rejected. My argument is that they are quick to mail out mailers to get customer business back when customers no longer owe them anything. They can also mail us back a check for the difference of which we paid over. Bonney tells me, next time I get ready to pay off my loan to call first. I had already explained to Bonney what Tory did. I called yesterday. Tory notated the account, "told customer he owed $392" and told me $396 over the phone. They don't take overpayments. They "reject" overpayments so that on an off chance you found out you never made a payment when you thought you did, hopefully to them, a day or two will have passed and you will owe even more money. Bonney tells me they have no control when this happens. I left from Security Finance and came back. I wanted something in writing that said my $400 payment was going to be rejected and refunded back to me. Bonney told me she couldn't give me anything on company letterhead saying that payment was going to be refunded back to me, that they voided it. My bank was going to take it out of pending status if I could get something in company letterhead from them. Bonney then told me she wasn't legally obligated to do so. I faxed the contract and receipt I had gotten earlier from her where she scribbled "paid in full as of 08/30/2018 and initialized it when I paid the $393. I put $400 was to be voided. Then I called and told my bank what I have done. Bank says it can take 2 days to get this sorted out. I am crossing fingers. If they need the screenshot of the payment confirmation on the $400, I have that too. What kind of business rejects payment even if it's overpaid? Bonney tells me the website indicates it doesn't post overpayments. I saw no such thing. I told her I used the mobile app to make the payment and I showed it her. We looked for the clause that said they don't post overpayments. All of a sudden, she tells me she wasn't familiar with that. That's Twilight Zone scary. Is negative 5 stars possible to give on here?

I pay my loan on time every month! I paid last month and this month I go to pay, and they say I didn't pay last month! I can't find my receipt for last month and they say that's the only way to prove I paid. Don't get a loan here! They don't take responsibility for updating their system after you pay and I'm not the only person this has happened too.
