They bankers here are so rude. I was there two days in a row and it was not pleasant. I quit banking there years ago, it used to be a good place to go.

Worst bank ever! Gives overdraft fees of $35 even when you didn't overdraft. Then they want to tell you that your wrong. Math is simple! Bob woke up and had $2.89 in his ckecking with $53 pending. So bob transferred $55 at 8:25am. Pending payments cleared and now bob has $58 in his checking after pending payments and pending returns cleared and after paying a $35 overdraft fee what a joke they should be ashamed 🙄

Today I attempted to sign up for a banking account at Security Credit Union for my business. I called your number and was put on hold for the next available agent. After about 15 minutes and 15 recorded messages that indicated someone would be with me soon, I reached a bank employee who took my name and what I was looking for and said she would transfer me to someone who could help me. Someone answered the phone without introducing herself and as soon as I spoke, she hung up. Not to be so easily put off, I dialed the number again. This time I waited through 5 or 6 recorded messages by a woman and then the messages changed to a serious man's recording, telling me how important my business was and someone would be with me shortly. Next come the suggestion that I could leave a message and someone would call back in 11 minutes. I waited for several more minutes and the next message said my wait time was now 14 minutes and if I wanted to leave a message, someone would call me back in 14 minutes. I guess someone jumped in front of me in the virtual line. Eventually after almost 45 minutes waiting, I tried to leave a message, but that didn't work. With all the free time I had waiting, I browsed your website, only to find an overall poor review. I was surprised to managements response was to call ... the same number that I just wasted 45 minutes on. Management, you need to call your own number as see how messed up your system is. I did call again later (during your peak call time) to 5th 3rd bank and was greeted on the 2nd ring and setup an appointment in about 5 minutes. I hope this initiates some activity on your part to improve a terrible customer service process. Best of luck.

Nothing but terrible experience with this bank always a hassle and run around with everything and making payments. There's a few that are good with you in customer service, others don't have a clue. Would not recommend this bank unfortunately for anything

I regret to state that I've had a loan account with Security Credit Union for about almost three years now (More/less) and unfortunately I’ve had nothing but terrible experiences with the loan department yesterday (Date: 06/09/20). I usually have had on time payments, with consideration of a terrible car deal from Jorgenson Ford on or around 12/27/18, where I was told from my salesman he found me a great deal on full coverage, completely false. I didn’t read the fine print, long story short I was approved with Security and he provided PLPD insurance proofs, which I have had to pay a huge penalty for. I didn’t want to proceed with the auto loan from the start. I was trying to catch up with the required insurance that was taxed on too, my already taxed monthly payment. Then COVID-19 hit, apparently Security Credit Union, hasn’t had any staff members or other loan members who are having hardships. For whatever reason, Jenny a Loss Prevention staff member, didn’t have the professional customer service decency to offer any arrangements, until after hearing about our current financial difficulties, and completely humiliated my wife and my other family members listening in on speaker phone to Jenny and her complete disregard to how we have been affected. Congratulations Jenny, and let’s not forget about Julie, your superior! You are the proud winners of Shaming loan members. I hope you both sleep well at night and it makes you both have a better day! I believe it is in the public’s best interest to know the type of people they will be dealing with if they choose SECURITY CREDIT UNION, and your practices on pandemic, and unprecedented times. I have belonged to many credit unions and this is the worst there tellers are not friendly there is usually only one and they treat you like their doing you a favor like dealing with a bank. Honda of Grand Blanc talked me into a lone with this credit union that was a bad choice and bad recommendation on there part I paid the vehicle off with a check from my credit union first they said they would hold the check for five days today it’s ten days hello credit union to credit union it’s 2019 what a terrible place to deal with as a local business owner in Grand Blanc I would recommend not dealing with this credit union look at their reviews there terrible it’s why they spend so much money on advertising. Team one and Frankenmuth credit unions are good to deal with there is more to a loan than the interest rate Buyers beware

I really enjoy doing business at Security. Great place, lots of options, wonderful staff. The Grand Blanc branch, in particular, is likewise great. Very knowledgeable, very helpful, and they process transactions FAST. The only reason I'm giving the GB location a 3-star review and not 5: it could just be me personally, but every single time I walk in (it's been at least six times this year on various days), NO ONE is smiling. Not a single smile on a single employee, from the time I walk in to the time I walk out. Whoever's helping me I can usually break the ice a little before they blaze through my transaction, but it never fails that I see almost a frown on every face. It's the weirdest thing and I feel like I'm always interrupting a party or something just by walking in. I've worked a few customer-centric jobs before, so I know how trying it can be. Plus, I know life can really be tough. I'm not saying this is a terrible place, and please don't start enforcing anything disingenuous to make me happy. Just smile!
