Just signed up at schools first. Our experience was absolutely wonderful. They opened our checking and savings account and handled the transfer of my Profit Sharing to an Ira. Ronnie was amazing, friendly, and funny. We felt like we we're doing business with a friend. (I was never a paid for this review).

The best credit union in California. Very friendly, consistently helpful service. Was happy to find them after starting my new job at UCR.

I was on my way to a different credit union and SchoolsFirst showed up closer on google maps so I decided to check it out. It’s such a coincidence that I am a school employee and this place specifically caters to that audience. I am a graduate student that also works for my university. Most of my 20s were spent surviving and it’s not like I made poor financial decisions, but I didn’t make the correct ones. SchoolsFirst is now working with me to improve my financial standing and providing me with resources to not only accelerate that process but also educating me. Amalia at the University Branch has been absolutely amazing. Not only is her customer service excellent but it’s so refreshing to see that there are still individuals out there that actually care and want the best for you as a human being, not just as a customer. She deserves a raise!

Credit unions are the best banking option for anyone in the today. Credit unions are non-profit institutions run by the customers who put their money in. Credit unions have much better customer service and lower fees. Both banks and credit unions provide similar services such as checking and savings accounts, loans and business accounts. Banks are for-profit institutions. I have been with credit unions for over 40 years and have always found them the best way to go. Out of all the credit unions I find Schools First the best credit union so far and the Riverside University branch to have a very good crew.

people are super helpful, nice and friendly. I am a customer for more than two years and if you are a UC student seriously it’s one of the best banks that you can create an account it. Taking a loan for students is so easy and if you get the your monthly deposit from UCpayroll office and would like to transfer it to a saving account you don’t need to go to payroll office, it can all be done in the bank. In addition it is a little bit of interest on your summer saving account if it goes from school directly to your account that is absolutely higher than most of the other banks.

Handled all our problems quickly. Cool money dispenser. Not fond that there isn't a 24/7 hotline to solve any credit card issues we might have in the middle of the night. No great online banking system, only monitoring.

We love School's First C.U. So helpful. Customer Service is the BEST! We belong to another credit union in town and School's First far exceeds in the category of personalized customer service.

Over that last 4 years School's First CU has been there when I needed them time and time again!!! I just applied for a Personal Loan for $50k figuring they would want to consolidate my current PL and CC. Hopping they'd just deposit the remaining $23 in my account... They said "No, but we'll just Deposit $25k into your savings!" No; BS, waiting around, or anything just a few clicks to sign and initial online and they Deposited the $$$$$ in 10 seconds. I applied this afternoon at 4pm and they Deposited the $ 2 1/2 hours later once I completed the doc's Treat them right and they will takecare of you!

Staff here is AMAZING!!! Feel very confident and friendly here. The only issue I have here is the parking in the back is always full on Friday afternoons yet the bank is half empty. People park here to avoid paying for parking in the shopping center and security does not enforce the credit union parking only
