Royal Credit Union - Rice Lake S Main St, Rice Lake

I went in to turn in some change last Friday. All I know is it felt really strange walking in there without my mask on. I said something to the greeter and he totally agreed with me. It's a good credit union and they're good people that work there. And I'm very happy the lobbies open again!

If you go into the building you don't have to wait too long. If you go to the drive thru prepare for up to a 30 minute wait.

I’ve only banked a couple other places in my life but I’m happy to say that I’ve been an RCU member for over a decade and I intend to be a member for the remainder of my life. The staff is beyond friendly and knowledgeable.

This bank is wonderful. They give you a chance at credit if you are working hard to pay your bills. We got a car loan when I know with just having a divorce and new credit history there was no chance otherwise of a loan anywhere else. We got a very reasonable rates for my situation.

I’ve been a member since 1994. Outstanding services at no or low costs. With direct deposit, I get FREE check printing, bill pay, check card, ATM withdrawals, and eBanking. Excellent for personal banking, loans, and mortgage. I agree with prior comment on commercial loans, not recommended.

If you are a small business, this is not the place to do business. After 16 years as a member, they still treated me like a number with zero benefits for banking with them as a small business. I bank at CCF now and they are leap and bounds better.

Poor customer service, poor communication, very long wait times for phone calls. You get what you pay for and this is a cheap credit union.

Great curtias customer service and friendly atmosphere, for a place lacking support and a flawed system that makes excuses to get away with charging you for there mistakes. Example: is checks clearing with amount there, and telling you they take 6 months to clear sometimes so they push threw later to charge you NSF for it being late or or when they finally are not cause they know if you don't pay NSF you can't use another check.

Worst experience of my life! My husband passed away and they would not take a payment from me since I am not on the loan. Out of every business I have needed to contact, they were the ONLY one to give me any issues. I will NEVER do business with them again. 5 stars for the WORST experience.
