I've been with this bank for years, but has changed alot, can't seem to reach anyone just there call service and they cant help with everything so you have to get a call back from a bank member later, plus no after hour number. I've called and asked for ATM daily increase since bank only allows a $500 per day withdraw limit, there i go to get money out from atm and still wont let me get over $500, this while on Vacation has happened twice and they tell you it's good for 24hrs but it didn't work , Ask for a call back on something and took all day or till the next day ,they do offer great car loan rates but disappointed with the communication process.

Worst experience ive ever had while trying to get a loan, applied online and never heard back from them, it took them weeks to get back to me, the lady that helped me (think her name was debra or something) she talked so fast and never let me get a word in. kept asking really personal things about me, DO NOT BANK HERE. they take way too long to get back to you, glad i went with Generations FCU, they were super responsive! Go there!

I joined RCFCU some 10 years ago on a recommendation from my father. After meeting with a banker and explaining my recent bankruptcy, I asked them their policies regarding loans , rates etc. With my chapter 7 just being dismissed I was pleasantly surprised by her answers. Without going over the entire past ten years I'll try and make this short. They were wonderful. I was going through some rough times, yet was still able to borrow from them at a good rate. I was very happy! Over the years after Jamie, (one of the Branch Managers) left, things began to change. She was GOOD! Over the past 3-4 years they've gone from being personable to now having bankers, yes bankers they are not qualified whatsoever. They don't know how interest works, how a check can only bounce twice, and much much more. Banking / Credit Union regulations , policies, the LAW. Might as well be a Wells Fargo customer and be a number....that's what you are today and how much their MO has changed. I have many grievances at this point, but if other members have experienced the same , we may be able to get a class action filed against them. Overdrafts and removing funds from your account with no transfer being set up to do so are my main problems with them. What bank or Credit Union would allow an ACH be presented 10 + times in one month? Charging $30.00 each time. Yes $300 charged and no one thought to call and make me aware, or to offer a solution, i.e stop the auto pay. No No, they'd rather collect that amount on a $40 - $50 auto pay with a balance less than the fees they charged me. I could have paid my creditor in full with those OD fees. I'm not saying this happened on one account. It was on 5 or 6 accounts resulting in over $1000 in less than 30 days...... and nobody thought to call me?? Trust me, the people, even branch managers are simply not qualified to be in their respective roles! They lack basic necessary skill sets but more Importantly with how they address issues or grievances. Not like the old days when credit unions wee personal when banks weren't! For the 10 years i banked there I would have given them very high marks for the first 5-6 years. After Jamie's departure, everything went downhill in a hurry TODAY THEY WOULD RECEIVE THE LOWEST MARK YOU CAN GIVE!! I'm very comfortable in saying DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY CONSIDERATION AS A FINANCIAL INSTITUTION FOR ANY PURPOSE. Checking, savings, car loans, mortgages...NOTHING! Their membership levels I'm sure have seen a sharp decrease in growth and will continue to do so. The person acting as President o this Credit Union must be oblivious to growth, the purpose of a CU, and certainly Customer Satisfaction.

I would rate this place zero stars if I could. They were always very rude, seem to play favorites among their customers, and the environment is unprofessional in my opinion. A bunch of subpar employees playing with peoples money. They do not know what they’re doing AT ALL. I would never bank there again.

Worst banking experience I have ever come across, I have more than three weeks calling the branch and they dont answer, I did an application for a account and did not resaved any Emails or letters telling me if I was approve or not however my credit got hit by there bank, it drop tow points. I want nothing to do with River City do your self a favor save your self time and money by doing the same. The teller at this branch is very nice Ana was a great help and very professional that's why I'm giving a 2 Star. however I'm still cancelling everything.

I have never have to wait to see anyone at this bank. The bankers and tellers are friendly and always willing to help. The amount of interest I have made on my checking alone makes this bank worth it. I have been a member here for about 10 years now. Last year, my debit card kept getting sent to my old address (there was an issue with the computer). Normally they put in a request for a new card and it gets sent out from a third party (hence it getting sent to the wrong place several times). When it became apparent that it was a glitch on the computer, they went out of their way to get a card made for me at the bank and shipped to me (I was unable to pick up the card at the bank for several months due to work obligations.) They bend over backwards for members whenever possible. I'm so thankful I switched from bank of America!

I have never heard of a bank that doesn't provide a 24 hr service for fraudulent charges being made on an account. Meanwhile, charges are being made, draining the account and we can't do a thing about it much less figure out which card it's coming from to put a stop to it. NO one to call to stop a card anyways. absurd! There's no one -absolutely no one to handle this. UPDATE: Second major issue with this bank! I have 5K in the bank set aside for appliance for my new house. I need these items ordered immediately due to delivery dates. The bank keeps declining my transaction! Of course once again, they are CLOSED So done with this bank!!!!!

Unfortunately, this banks customer service is declining. If there's a shortage in staff or changes being implemented due to Covid, it's the managers job to ensure customers are still getting taken care of. Now, I have to take all 3 of my kids to the bank with me to merely get my online banking reset. Absolutely ridiculous. If you would answer the phone or call customers back, it would minimize person to person contact.

I have been banking with River City Federal Credit Union for 15 years They have been professional, informative and consistent until this year 2018 their front tellers aren’t as educated and they have poor customer service. Example I went in to cash a business check and the teller was making noises And nodding his head no then went to speak to the manager came back and told me I had to wait 7 days for my check to clear when I first opened my business account I was told the first 60 to 90 days I would have holds. When I called Customer Service they informed me it is per location what the manager decided. Never have I had these set back in the past there’s more concerns but I have been with them for so long I just want them to go back to their excellent professional customer service.

I have been banking here for years...today I spent 29 minutes in the drive thru just to deposit 155.00. I lost almost 30 minutes of my lunch waiting. Grrr
