Rey is a very fair businessman. I needed a cash loan for travel over the summer and went to him for a loan. Over the next 6 months I was almost completely out of communication. He made sure to call me before the goods were forfeited, and was kind enough to let me catch the interest up even though it was greatly overdue and I wasn’t there in person. If you are in the area and intend on getting a loan he is the only guy to see. Just keep up with your end of the deal and he will be very accommodating. Great location, great prices for other goods in store.

Spoke to someone on the OfferUp platform, negotiated a price and to meet on a Saturday. Seller then backed out and told me to come back on Monday because he does not want to actually sell the item for the price given. After giving feedback to the seller about his poor business tactics and that I will be leaving a bad review, I was told "F U and yelp!" If you can't speak nicely to people, don't open up a shop in the first place!!! Shame on you Rey Cash Downtown Pawn & Jewelry!

Scam of a place. Made insulting offers for everything I brought, even things brand new, never used, in packaging, including 40 cents for a bag of 20 Swarovski jewelry pieces (whole pieces, most with tags attached). Don't come here if you want to be treated with the remotest amount of respect or actually sell anything you bring.

two stars should be enough for y’all. everytime i open the door, the guy started yelling like he had no idea what he was doing. so when i looked around the pawn shop, there’s tons of shoes that were used, dirty, and old. i decided to pawn my jordans flight 23s which i can’t fit in those anymore. the lady took 5 seconds to have a brief look at them she didn’t accepted them so how the hell can I get rid of these shoes ?? the guy had no reason to talk like he was aggressive. maybe the owner should fire him because he would constantly attack everyone.

I sold a few pieces to Rey and he was beyond kind and fair. He made me feel completely safe and I was treated with dignity and respect. I highly recommend Rey and his team or professionals.
