    If you want convenience, go somewhere else. If you want someone to answer your call, go somewhere else. EVERY single time I call to talk to someone, it is AT LEAST 25 minute wait time. Minimum. If you want a bank to be responsible with your money when it comes to debit/credit cards, go somewhere else. On the other hand, If you want to have a likely chance of being approved for a loan, you can consider REV. They love that. Never had an issue when they were Heritage Trust. Couldn’t recommend them more back in the day. Picture attached is the amount of time I was on hold. Not a single person answered and I hung up after waiting 30 minutes, yet again. Amazing how you can NEVER get in touch with people who have your money.

    Originally had my checking and savings with SCFCU. Went to Heritage(now REV) due to them consistently having the best rates for loans. The branch manager Teresa Osorio has done a few car loans for us. I honestly feel like I have my own personal banker. She is as friendly as she is helpful. Incredibly responsive on email and calls. She makes the process very simple. I highly recommend this branch!

    Would give this bank less stars if possible, for starters my husband and I applied for a loan August 3rd, the advisor give us the impression that we were approved, August 17 he contact us just to tell us they couldn’t approve the loan requested amount because we were $500.00 short! Which is crazy when we have 4000 + in residual income monthly! Prior to me coming to this bank( My colleagues inform that this bank was prejudice and I refuse to believe them! But when their employee himself says, “ I’ve been fighting this all day, because what they done isn’t right, I can’t believe this” I know right then and there it wasn’t based off factual information! I am not mad because of their decision, I’m more so disappointed about us waiting around we could have been else where shopping for rates! If you are looking for a credit union I suggest you invest your money in a bank that will have your back in the event you need them; if they can’t deliver, find a bank that would! That’s the main reason individuals choose credit unions over traditional banks anyway.

    Heritage Trust Federal Credit Union on James Island is a great place to do all of your banking. They have a caring, professional, and helpful staff that is able to handle just about any transaction no matter how big or small. I am always impressed with their level of customer service that they offer and the individual attention they give to everyone that needs it. They know how to make banking easy.

    I like this place. Has a small town friendly and personal feel to it. Have been very good to me over the years. Thay worked very hard to get me a small loan when no one else at the big banks would bother to try. Extremely happy I opened a saving account there, I plan on moving my business account over to them this year as well.

    I went to the James Island Branch for the first time to day and was extremely disappointed and upset by the Teller Kerri Murphy's behavior. She started my transaction to replace my debit card she got as far as pulling my account up and wrote shred on my old card before the phone rang. She stopped my transaction for more than ten minutes instead of asking the person to hold. I had to interrupt her by saying excuse me I was ahead of the caller before she wrapped the call up. Then she couldn't even assist the person as it was a collections call. Another member told the male teller who handled her transaction "PLEASE DON'T EVER DO THAT TO ME!" He said what as if he didn't notice what was happening. The customer said "take a call while you're waiting on me" ( I wished that I had gotten her name). His reply we can't help that at times. The customer said "that is rude and unprofessional" I agreed. To make matters even worst after waiting ten or more minutes for her to get off the phone she sarcastically said it's going to take two and a half minutes for the card to print. I was satisfy with that, but then she comes back and said once again sarcastically that "it's going to take another ten minutes because I forgot to turn the machine on." At this point I ask for all of my money from both savings and checking. She said okay do you wanted it from both accounts and just kept being obnoxious. I then ask to speak to a member of management she lied that their was no manager available. I knew better and step away when I saw that someone in one of the office was available. Kerri and the male teller apparently thought it was funny because as I walked away they began laughing. Then she comes attempting to count my money out to me that proves that she intentionally was rude to me and could've careless about having my business. I think she should be fired or at least written up. This was the only branch that I have had problems with. That account was a secondary account. My husband and I do business with Navy Federal and our business account is with Wells Fargo. I was just thinking on last Thursday about possibly using Heritage Trust as the primary because of the multiple locations versus Navy Federal single location. I would rather stand in line for an hour before being treated the way I was today. Hope she is discipline to the maximum as well as the other teller.

    Wonderful and friendly staff! I always enjoy seeing everyone. So much so that I make it a point to go inside and not just drive through. They have always gone above and beyond to get me everything I've needed.

    Forget getting anyone from customer service on the phone. It won’t happen. So infuriating. I want to like this credit union so much but it just continues to fall short on way to many things.
