The way Regions treats it’s customers are outrageous, they are more concerned with taking your money than anything else ! It does not matter what reason you use for stealing it’s still theft! How can you justify Outrageous NSF fees ? This is why Congress is looking into all these greedy companies.

I was not going to write a review, but after being cold-called today for a mortgage I was adamant I did not want, a full month after beginning the equity process of generally strung along by this regions branch and their phantom 'underwriting team', and finding my credit was run additional (needless) times without consent, I thought a warning to others was in order. TL;DR: I should have checked the reviews before I wasted nearly a month with seemingly endless forms, documentation, phone calls and meetings for a HELOC of a mere 1/5 my available equity. The process was too much back and forth- way more than when we actually bought our home- only for their contracted appraiser make three major errors of fact (how do you miss a 2-car garage attached at the street?) and their teams to send completely conflicting information at various stages because their departments or teams do not communicate effectively to their clients or one another. I never got a straight answer to simple questions, and they were often unsure of basic finance jargon on paperwork. Their systems are indeed primitive, anything emailed must be done several times and information literally highlighted. In the end, after driven to peak frustration by the above, additional sales calls trying to cajole me into other accounts and wasting an entire ink cartridge and ream of paper for their documents, I went elsewhere and got a better deal. I was approved within 2 minutes, completely electronically by another banking company for a better home improvement loan, rate, and terms: 1.5% less APR, $3000 more and not a fee in sight aside for the interest. Unsecured at that. I give 2 stars because I feel quite bad for several people there who did try to be helpful, but the infrastructure, corporate leadership and organizational strategy is just so wrong and is stuck in time to about twenty years ago. It's a real pity when one tries to keep traditional brick and mortar with human interaction alive in business and banking and one finds out the hard way why it's dying. And, the hardest part of the experience is admitting my husband was right and should just loan shop online. And, PS to whomever watches over your google reviews: do not comment for me to call to resolve the matter unless you're ready to compensate me for my time and money wasted.

We certainly understand this was not a positive experience, and we've made sure to make our Complaints team aware of this matter to improve this process in the future. In the future, if we can ever help you with anything, please email us at [email protected]. -Tyler

I don't like this bank. They wanted me to bring over my business accounts and stay with them for 6 months before they could offer me any of their business credit or lines of credit products. I closed out my personal accounts and they charged me a fee. Be aware they will charge you a fee if you close your account before 180 days.

    Response from the owner

Hello, Nick. Thank you for sharing this review and feedback, it is very important to us! Our email [email protected] is open if you wish to converse more on this experience. Our team will be glad to document your matters properly, and we will be glad to try to assist. - Hector

I have a credit card with Regions Bank, but that doesn't give local branches the right to spam call customers who live locally. This office has called me three times in the last few days and only left one voicemail out of all three times. The person that called did not seem to call for anything specific, and just said in the voicemail "it is our responsibility to communicate with our customers." Okay...thanks for wasting my time. I called Regions Bank Customer Service and confirmed that this branch was not calling for anything specific, just to solicit business. I requested to be put on the Do Not Call list.

    Response from the owner

We're sorry to hear this happened, Alex. We're glad that we could help add you to the Do Not Solicit list. If you would like to address any other concerns with us, please send us an email to [email protected]. -Tyler

Hmmm, wonder why rating is so low… I have a business account and come through the Drive Thur only… I have always received great service. Much much better than the Northwest Highway and Tollway location in Dallas, I must say !

I usually bank in person at the branch on Campbell Road in Garland and customer service there is excellent. Never a problem there. Everyone there have treated me well. I will drive past most other Regions branches to get to them. They are that good. And whenever I am on the phone with customer service they are helpful, knowledgeable and courteous ... they are true professionals with hearts. Online banking allows me to do mostly anything that I need to get done in my accounts... I love my Regions Bank!

My husband and I have been banking with this particular branch for over 3 years now. Everybody we have dealt with here is great and you can tell they really care about their customers. I worked at a bank myself for years so when moving to a new city I knew what I wanted in a bank and I definitely think the employees have achieved the kind of friendly, personal customer service I was looking for. I’m also very impressed that they all even remember our name! I would recommend this branch to anyone.

I don't go to branches often due to work schedule and their online banking is great. However 1 day I came to deposit some cash for the first time and the lady greet so nicely and she was so happy to finally meet me in person like they've been waiting for their long lost customer to come in. I have to say she made my day, her great customer service really talk so much about the bank and that they care about their customer. Well done on training your people Regions bank!

We had a terrible time working with Regions, they have very poor customer service and their entire setup is difficult to use. I do want to give shout out to Chase Bank for being much easier to work with. We opened a green checking account which was offering a $400 bonus. We were short on time as many families are didn't intend to make a big ordeal of opening a account. First the registration code they mailed us wasn't recognized when we went to open an account with the bonus(the lady on the phone had an attitude), then to open the account according to the terms we had to fund it, but they would let us fund it from another bank we had to have a debit card which we didn't have. So we actually had to go to the old bank first just to get a debit card we would use once. Then we jumped through all the hoops to make sure we made the right number of purchases etc in the first so many days. We waited the ridiculous long 120 day period (Chase is only 30 days FYI). Mean while a lady from the bank kept calling an harassing me to try and get me to come in so she could up-sell me products. After the long waiting period, NO BONUS arrived. We reached out to them and they replied that we forgot to set up electronic statements (amongst all the upfront chaos) so we would be getting it. After we complained on line they called and left me a message that they had a resolution and sent me a confirmation number. I called and they basically reiterated why we screwed up. First the lady starts by quizzing me on what the requirements were, I couldn't remember them all since we had wait 6 months, then she tells me we messed up and the instructions were clear. Basically the customer "service" line is there to argue with customers not serve them. I was appalled by their attitudes toward customers. To make matters worse it was hard to get our money out because their online checking accounts dont let you simply transfer money to your your other banks, you have to use some third party and then its limited to $500 so we had to draw it down in increments.

Primitive Bank. It has long away to go. We have our Car loan with them. If you don't have account with them, you can't pay by going to the account online (Personal Loan). They don't know when they can even implement it. So I am using my personal bank to send them the check monthly. They don't have any auto pay system either. Who does banking with them and why should someone? I have no idea. I will try to refinance and will try to get out of their service. It takes over 15 minutes to talk with someone. Horrible.
