DO NOT BANK WITH REGIONS! Even though I have a checking and money market account with this bank, I am being charged a monthly fee of $8.00 because I am not using my debit card more then 10 times a month. We are in the middle of a pandemic and I am unable to leave my home as I am 70 years old and unfortunately was bedridden for almost a month due to the COVID virus. I am closing my accounts and going to another bank that actually cares about their customers! Shame on you Regions!
We don't want to see you go. We'd be glad to review your account type to see how we can assist. To further chat, feel free to email us at [email protected]. -Trish

If I could rate my overall experience I would rate it lower than a 1. I've banked with regions for years and my experience at the homestead branch was time consuming and an inconvenience. I received a wire transfer from my lawyer, and was told when I went to withdraw cash that funds could not be released because the amount I requested to withdraw (1600.00) raised a red flag in there system and they need proof that my lawyer wired the amount to me. In addition the banker questioned me about the sender and why the funds were transferred to my account. I contacted the customer service department and was told from other bankers that the manner in which the homestead branch serviced me is not in adherence to regions protocol when handing wire transfers. The banker should've verified that the wire transfer was sent to me from my lawyer. I contacted my lawyer on site since he wired the funds to me, and he requested the bankers info to speak with her directly by giving me her card. After I requested her card so my lawyer can speak with her. she then mentioned "you might be able to withdraw funds". 2 minutes later she said I will be able to withdraw funds. Not sure what her motive was for not verifying the wire transfer when I initially requested to withdraw money. As she should have because its protocol. The banker did not bother to apologize for her mistake/unprofessional behavior. She only apologized for the inconvenience after I stated that her actions inconvenienced me and asked her how to prevent a similar situation from happening in the future. I filed a complaint with (Anna) and will see how it turns out. I would hate for this to happen to anyone else, which is why I am sharing my horrible experience. I'm sure she has done this to many customers and has gotten away with it! Hopefully the complaint I filed will raise a red flag with her supervisor and she gets trained on how to do her job before she doesn't have one.

Dear Regions and Public, I opened an account with Regions Bank Homestead last year, I was looking to save some money. My primary bank is Chase I like that bank but was tempted of touching my savings account. The teller at Regions Bank informed me that my account would be free for one year after that they will begin to charge a monthly fee. My year was up in February 2016, but I didn't see the need for my Regions Account anymore, so I stepped into the branch and was helped out by Carlos the Lead Branch Teller. He asked me questions and even opened a savings account, he told me that I didn't need to worry about the monthly fee to keep the account opened and the fee will be waived every month. To my surprise, that was not the case I was charged every month no fee was ever waived, I was a very disappointed. I made several attempts to call the branch and speak to Carlos in order to stay as a client with Regions, however every time I called I was informed he was busy assisting customers or taking care of an issue or not available. I gave each teller my phone number to have Carlos call me back. I was never called, I gave up and decided to lose $24 and close my account I even stopped the direct deposit from my employer going into the account. Carlos saw me and didn't even apologize I know he knew that I was upset with his unprofessional and his inability to handle such situation. It's ok I know that you saw small amounts of money on that account but your didn't know is I had to deposit a lot of money in order to remain incognito I will not disclose the amount of the deposit that I have to make. I will no longer use your service, I may have lost some money but I gained a better understanding on how you operate at a specialty location and I will use 2 other banking locations to handle my money. People please do your research there is a reason why more Bank of America and Chase Branches are opened or Wells Fargo and few Regions.

Come to withdraw money the teller is questioning me how I got money where did it come from then tells me it’s unavailable even though I made a cash deposit. I call customer service and the lady said cash is available same day and there’s is no reason to not give it. I suggest you go else where if trying to make a large withdrawal you will be questioned of where your funds came from as if that’s anybody’s business.
