    After taking my wife's BMW to two different, so called BMW specialists. I found Reggie's Motorworks. The previous BMW specialists misdiagnosed the issue badly. Reggie's Motorworks not only diagnosed the issue properly but thier communication was excellent. Their analysis report is electronic and sent to you via text with more detail than a engineering or R&D report and has detailed photo's... All inspection processes are ranked with colors (Green, Yellow and Red) and umlike other service shops, they do not try to high pressure you into items (tires, batteries, etc.) that you do not need. Their customer satisfaction seems to biggest metric as far as I've experienced. With all that said, they saved me over $2200.00 on a misdiagnosed issue. I will only take the wife's BMW to them from this point forward. Oh and they leave gourmet cookies with a THANK YOU card in your car. Who does that??? If you have a BMW this is the place to go!

    Decided to use Reggies after warranty ran out on my Q7. Major tune up was completed as expected + a free loaner. Had some minor front end damage and computer threw 2 codes. Headed to Reggies and Nick reset the computer, fixed the codes complimentary! Just got 4 tires had a bit of a hiccup but was treated very fairly to make it right. I’ll be back with my wife’s X4.

    $129/hr labor rate 50% parts markup over DEALERSHIP prices. (so take your own parts if they let you) "we round up" We were introduced to Reggies after a fender bender from a body shop. We used them for a couple of oil changes and have always been happy with them. They are always polite and friendly and being a Rosies Place breakfast fan we love the butter cookies aka "heart attack cookies" they leave on the seat after a visit. This 1 star review is only relating to our most recent experience. Immediately after our last oil change at Reggies we got the low oil warning on the screen. We let them know about it and they offered to take a look whenever we could get it to them. I topped it up and continued to monitor it without issue. A while later the low oil warning returned. Checked it out, noticed some oil on the ground and immediately thought it was the oil thermostat BMW v8's are known for. And now this has happened on 2 of the 3 BMW V8s that I have owned. Nick was very nice on the phone when I called him. I let him know the oil was still an issue however I don't think it's related to the oil change they did, but rather the oil thermostat gasket. Nick offered to check it out at their convenience if we would leave it for a few days. I thought, wow that's very nice of them, they are going to double check their work to make sure it's not related to their oil change. Stuff happens and maybe something was missed. No, problem. I was shocked to receive a call the day after we dropped it off because we were on the "whenever" schedule. I was told it was the "oil thermostat gasket and it was $750 to replace." My first thought after hearing this is, it's only the problem that I already identified and there is nothing else going on related to the oil change. Cool. My second thought and next questions to Reggies was "$750? for a $6 gasket? what is your labor rate?" I was very nicely told "$129/hr, $56 for parts (gasket + 2 o-rings), and the job was 4.5 hours." Doing quick math this is clearly not $750.00 so I asked what all the other stuff was in there and was told "taxes, hazardous waste fee, and WE ROUND UP." No sales tax on labor so that's pretty insignificant on a labor heavy bill. Well the "other stuff" ended up being about 15% of their total estimate. I asked if they could lock the key in the car so I could pick it up after work. I was nicely told that was not a problem "we can lock the key in the car for you and take a credit card over the phone" Credit card for what? So I paid the $64.50 for 1/2 hr of labor and 2 cookies without protest. Having known this I never would have taken them up on the offer to check their oil change work. While it sounded nice at the time, I now know why. The $56 in parts they wanted to charge me can be ordered online for $10 + shipping. Or out the door at the dealership's inflated prices for $30.00. Shoot, you can order a whole new oil thermostat online for $57.00 or $160 from the dealer. So if Reggies markup holds true for my parts you are looking at $320 for a new oil thermostat from reggies? No thanks. For being a non-priority customer, I sure feel like I paid priority prices for Reggies "favor"

We should have better communicated this, and we are more than willing to take responsibility for the error. It sounds like, other than pricing, you've had a pleasant experience at RMW? I am glad to hear this. In fact, it looks like we may have gotten your car in before we promised? I'm also pleased to hear that you were confident that the leak was not likely from the work we completed. As far as pricing goes, we are ever evolving and changing based on what it costs to provide what we hope to be the best experience possible. We evaluate our cost of doing business, client satisfaction, and pricing on a weekly basis. One of our core values is hiring the best people in the industry, paying them an excellent wage, and providing excellent benefits. We also reinvest in the training and tools to stay on the cutting edge of our industry. We just can not sell parts for the same price as online parts warehouses and charge the same labor rate as shops who pay lower technician wages. We invest all of this money to be able to A. Give our clients the best experience we can today. And B. To do an even BETTER job tomorrow. In the case of this particular gasket, as you mentioned it is a known problem on BMW V8's. We back all of our work with a three-year 36,000-mile nationwide warranty. There is a relatively decent chance that that gasket may fail again within that timeframe based on how it was designed. It is not a fun job, even for a professional with the right tools, but if we have to do it again, we do so with a smile. Without question, there are less expensive places to have your German car repaired. What we really hope is to provide the best possible experience. We consider ourselves very fortunate and are thankful for all of the folks who support us in this effort. Respectfully, - Reggie and Team

    I've been taking my vintage BMW E30 to Reggie's Motorworks for over four years now. Barring an emergency, I won't let anyone else work on the car. Reggie and his team know their stuff, and they always provide top-quality work at a fair price.
