Honestly, I was really scared when I received a call from RMS. I wasn’t sure what it is for because nothing had hit my credit. Turned out it was a student loan collection. I, like the majority of us who went to college never being explained how to deal with this debt, never knew how to start paying. The collector that called me was so kind and helpful. It feels really good being able to sleep at night knowing that I’m making payments towards my loans. It’s strange to say but I’m really glad they reached out to me.

Very very rude people horrible customer service Marissa Benitez that works there calls me to harass me on a weekly bases. I understand They have a job to do but being disrespectful, yelling and throwing a tantrum Over the phone because they cannot receive the funds right than and there is a crazy way to act. I have Set up arrangements to pay back my loan and Marissa just likes to go on and on about NOTHING i am Really starting to think that she just likes to talk for fun. She definitely needs to take a customer service class or she will probably have to stay at this job for a very long time with that attitude

Very disrespectful human beings. I have been dealing with this agency for over the course of of 6 years. I am at my final payments and the disrespect and inhumane actions have made me feel soo little. Jeremy has been over my account for the past 6 years and was nice in the beginning but this time he called with such an aggressive tone and when asked to speak to management (Joe) I received such a passive aggressive response for him as well. I am appalled at the horrible customer service and lack of humanity, you don’t treat clients who have NEVER given a problem with paying off debt they way I was just treated. Shame on RMS for the lack of integrity and dignity- These are not agents anyone would want to portray the personality of a company!

Called to dispute a debt that I didn’t even know I had. Rebecca Guzman hung you on me. Very unprofessional received no letters, emails nor voicemails saying I had this debt for almost a year now. Honestly I get they deal with mad people everyday but that’s literally what they signed up for and she hung up on me. She went back on wording of when she said this would be taken off my credit then proceeded to get mad at me when I told her she just said one date and now is back tracking.

Terrible customer service. They claim they won’t let you make payments unless you do a application that ask you for your job information, how much you bring home monthly, where you bank, what’s your account, and probably more but I stopped the rep at that point. I told her I didn’t feel comfortable giving out that information. She got a manager on the line named Angela Irving, let me tell you that woman was EXTREMELY disrespectful towards me for someone to be asking me to take my pocket book out and make a payment. She talked over me the entire time have a VERY smart mouth. I honestly would have rather her left the rep on the line with me than speak to her. She also told me I’m not her customer which confused me because I asked her if I wasn’t her customer I don’t see why she would be on the phone with me. She was not helpful in any way shape or form. It would be great if she was put in trainer on how to be respectful and not talk over people. Not a good experience with the customer service team on this part and I will be reaching out to higher up’s because that’s never a way to speak to someone ESPECIALLY your customers at a place of work.

I dealt with a man named Jeremy E. And he didn't even give me the time of day. He was aggressive hidden behind a pleasant tone and when I tried to explain I wouldnt be paying and I would need to know how long they were open so I could get the money he hung up on me saying he was going to note in the file that it was a refusal to pay before I could say the second part of my sentence. He's a sleazeball. If u get Jeremy as ur handler go above him. He's not a good person to work with.

Any debt collection agency is going to get some bad reviews; paying back debts isn't the best thing ever. I'm currently in the process of paying back one of my delinquent accounts with RMS. I was able to set up an affordable monthly payment plan with an agent (I forget her name) to get everything back on track. Their online payment portal is easy to use and set up automatic payments with. They have been professional every step of the way and my experience with them has been super easy. Thank you, RMS for keeping me on track.

It shouldn't matter if you're purchasing a wedding ring or paying back a debt.. Establishments based off customer service (especially those trying to get money from people) should have superb customer service skills. I can assure you this company is filled with staff that are liars and have the WORST customer service skills I have ever encountered. If I could give negative stars and have their validity legally looked at, I would. Make sure your debt is legitimate before paying this company; dont be fooled by their threats.

My last 2 Federal tax refunds were offset for student loans. Last year I received a portion of my Fedeal tax return so I assumed the debt was settled otherwise I wouldn't have received a tax refund. I found out today that I owe $40 still. I called and they basically said I wasn't telling the truth about getting a Federal tax refund last year. So I guess the 40$ will be offset this year and I better make sure the debt is settled or I'll incur another year of interest and whatever other fees they apply.

I owed about $5800 for a school loan which quite frankly the school screwed me on but I owe what I owe. RMS contacted me about 4 years ago, a month after I had my son so times were tough. Erin was an awesome rep, they understood my situation and allowed me to pay what I could. My income has doubled since then and yet they have never asked me to adjust or up my payment plan. I make extra payments when I can and hopefully will be done this year. Yea, collectors sucks but they definitely worked with me. Erin is great.
