Called to request more information about a property listed online (as the listing asked a potential tenant to do). The woman on the phone was rude, unhelpful and didn't seem to understand why I was calling. Before I even get to see the property, this is a red flag for me to stay far away from any properties listed by this company. UPDATE: Below is response from the owner (in case it gets deleted after I write this update) Response from the owner53 minutes ago Sorry for your experience, please contact me with your concerns. We do require you view the property prior to applying, this is for your satisfaction. I have literally only spoken with these people once and only over the phone. I saw a property on Zillow that interested me and made a call to the number listed. Of course I'd like to see a property before I sign a lease! I was merely calling for more information about that! Treating potential renters like scum for calling to find out more information is no way to do business. To whomever responded: Please take this as a lesson and try to improve your business tactics rather than defend yourself. You will only continue getting bad reviews that way.

EDIT: The fact that this moron replied to my review trying to defend an unrelated issue that was aimed at someone I don't even know only proves my points about how inept they are. ============ One star, because there's no way to rate 0. We've had nothing but problems with them since we moved in -- ranging from unanswered emails, maintenance requests that were opened and then closed without word, and their inability to do their own paperwork(it's not our job to make sure they do their job)... among a myriad of other problems. We're currently a month out from the end of our lease, and we had to host a showing today -- which I wholeheartedly feel was a setup, because we suddenly got an email stating that we were in breach of the lease agreement because there were "pet urine stains and odors" in the house, of which there are none. They're also attempting to charge us for an unauthorized pet, when it was their office that failed to followup with us in order to get the paperwork filed, over a year ago. We've opened multiple work orders to get our fence repaired, and they've flat-out ignored them by closing the work order without actually sending anyone to look at it. They've also closed work orders created by their own maintenance men who came by for our "mid-term inspections," without a word and without sending anyone over. The fence, alone, we've been trying to get them to repair since November of last year. They closed the maintenance request without word in February of 2016. The same with trying to get them to repair a massive leak in the kitchen wall -- the window leaks very badly when it rains(soaks everything on the counter, and there's damage to the paint and wall under the windows). That request was entered in October 2015, and silently closed in November 2015. Overall, RPMLonestar is one of the most unprofessional, idiotic, brazenly inept companies I've ever rented from. I've seen on other reviews where they come in here and attempt to defame the poster on the basis that the company is right, and the poster was wrong, but it seems that they're really good at trying to hide behind blaming things on other people. I'm sure they're gonna come in here and do the same to me. I'm legit leaving this review so people know what kind of scam business they run.

I had submitted several important maintenance issues, (toilet replacement, back door lock replacement), through Real Property Management and never heard back. Anytime I would call and ask for an update, the ladies in the office would each tell me they would call or email me back, and I would never hear from them. One particular morning I called to get another update, and they rudely hung up on me. I stopped trying to contact them due to the negativity and didn't hear from them for over a month. Only until I placed a negative review here on google, did I hear back from the owner, Joseph DeBlasio. He was very helpful and fixed my issues asap, which I am very grateful for. However, I wish this all could've been resolved when I actually submitted the first maintenance requests, rather than having a very stressful first month of my lease.

This company is not professional. We are currently living in one of their homes, and they are very rude. We have had air conditioning issues for the past week, and the maintenance man basically told us to fix it ourselves. We have been living in the summer, Texas heat for the past week because they haven't helped us at all. This home also came with a ton of weeds. Instead of the rental property doing something about it, while the house was vacant, they have decided to charge us $50 every rental period until the weeds were eliminated. This was not our fault.

When you initially talk to RPM they are nice and appear to be professional. But once you sign up and move in, they will make sure to take your money, not provide any good service. Joseph is impossible to get a hold of. He is sure to respond to comments here, but try getting a hold of him in the office... He is either "on the other line" or "with a customer" every single time. Their receptionist always comes up with some b.s.

I have an investment rental house in Pfleugerville. My tenant decided to stop paying rent but wouldn't leave my house. I hired Real Property Management to start the eviction process. They were able to get my tenant to catch up and keep paying his rent. They have done a great job managing my property and I highly recommend them.

They have been prompt with repairs and pretty much leave me alone. Probably because I am always on time with my rent. I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars because I was continually asked for a $75.00 renewal fee that had been paid. They asked for it a couple times throuout the year in a stern email. Each time I showed proof of payment. But several months later the same thing would happen.That is a paperwork problem. Other than that I have no complaints.

Looking for house to rent and saw their posting on Zillow. Took a week of trying to reach the agent before I got them. Email correspondence was unprofessional but not rude. Then the agent didn't even show up so we could view the house. I just went on the website, having gotten home from waiting 40 extra minutes for the agent, and see the house is now marked as sold, since Jan of 2016. Glad I read these reviews, I would have given them another chance but I see this is common behaviour. This is clearly not a company I want to be giving money to, so I'll not be renting from them.
