I went to this place because I received a cashier's check in the mail from Wells Fargo. The check was only for $65.30. Nothing Major. So me and my kids went there at approximately 7:15 p.m. We watch a couple before us cash their check with no issues. Once I got to the window I handed the teller my check with the stub still attached with the envelope it came in. I then endorse the back of the check. The teller then handed the check to another gentleman which I assume was the manager or owner. The gentleman then told me that the store did not cash cashier's checks. I asked him when did this policy come into place he said yesterday. Now as far as I know a cashier's check is the safest check to cash. I then asked him why wouldn't he cash my check he said I only can cash my check at Wells Fargo which I knew was a lie. I then told him I know exactly why you're not cashing my check and he said out of his mouth no it's nothing like that the owner does not want me to cash your check. I then took my check and left the store. I'm currently filing a lawsuit against this place for discrimination because of race or color of my skin. I suggest no one visit this place of business. I then went to another check cashing place that I never been to and they told me that a cashier's check is one of the safest checks you can cash all you have to do is call the number that's on the front of the check and verify it via the phone. My lawyer will definitely be in contact with this place.

First time here and went in to this place for a money order. The girl that helped me didn’t advise me that the money orders had a limit and just gave me 2 different money orders. When I asked her why didn’t she advise me that way I had a choice of doing it or not she stated well that’s the way we do it here laughed and didn’t care. They should let the customers know the options they have. Also the parking is horrible and the place is just dirty and so unprofessional.Employees need training or hire new people.

The manager is rude. He calls you a kid when you look young but really you are an adult. And I didn’t get an apology for being called a kid and I am 22 years young, it’s not my fault I have good jeans and he doesn’t. I just wanted a money order and they say you have to be 18 and I go in there all the time and they never ask for a ID . But this time they wanted a ID and he couldn’t and wouldn’t show me the policy where it says you have to be 18 to have a money order and the only reason I come here is because they don’t charge a fee to make a money order here. But they terrible customer service skills .

BAD BUSINESS 👎 I’m a real person not a fake account. This company charged me -$23 to cash a money order that I bought there. It’s bad business to pay that much money to get your own money back. I will recommend to everyone not to sponsor or do business with these type of companies. A reasonable fee is ok but not that much for printing out a money order and cashing it. There should be a 0 star. My bank could not cash it because I wrote a name of another business on it so my bank sent me back to where I got it at. Smh No vayan a este lugar, hacen muy mal negocio cobran por cambiar un Money Order que yo compre alli $23 y es mucho dinero por imprimir un Money Order. No les vuelvo a dar mi dinero

This place is the best! I had an out-of-state bonus check from work that I had taken to PLS, but couldn’t get cashed. (Avoid PLS if at all possible. Wasting time and getting lied to is what you get at PLS.) The young ladies working at this Telephone Road location (just off the South Loop) were not only very friendly, they obviously knew what they were doing. I was out of there cash-in-hand in about 10-15 minutes. Plus they charged the lowest fee of any of the check-cashing places I had googled. I may never try to use a check-cashing business ever again, but if I do this is where I will go.

I have been coming here for the longest the girls are super courteous and always in a great mood Yvette Vazquez takes care of me always she is awesome!! Love this place and energy from all the girls!!!

Customer service super frendly and quick no wait time in and out i recomend to everyone who aint got time to wait ! Maricela was cool

Worst customer service ever staff are rude they can’t give you a straight answer to think I got referred here definitely not coming to this location again if your reading this you don’t believe me go for your self
