I use PEFCU just because they have low fees and its a hassle to change banks. I'm honestly disgusted with their customer service at this branch. I've never gotten anything done easily with them. The reason for this visit was to open a separate account from an existing account and they stated that it wouldn't be done in an hour. I'm ab existing customer... how difficult could that be? My wife always tells me they used to be good but overall they have been useless as a Member Service.
Gerardo, Thank you so much for your review. I am sorry to hear about your unfortunate experience, and I hope that your conversation with the Branch Manager helped make amends. We're normally known for our exceptional banking experiences, and we regret that we missed the mark. We appreciate you and your wife for your Membership. -Marketing

While there are major perks to banking with them, their team member’s customer service skills are horrible. When you call this branch most times you can’t get an answer and when you go to the location most times instead of being greeted you are just stared at until you say what you need. I’ve called on several occasions and dealt with very nasty and unprofessional attitudes.

I have been banking with PEFCU for over 20 years and have mostly received good service in the Norcross branch. I also have over a decade of banking experience myself, so I know they have the power to release a hold if they want to. I deposited a cashier's check and asked that the hold be released on the balance of $300 so I could pay for tree cutting this weekend due to Hurricane Irma. After waiting on hold for 5 minutes I explained to the teller what I needed and why I needed it. I was placed back on hold so the head teller could be consulted. I was then told the POLICY wouldn't allow a release of the hold because it was mobile deposited. I get it with fraud and all because I deal with that everyday, however, it's not like they don't know where I work!!! And, by the way, my career is worth more than trying to defraud PEfcu for a measly 300 bucks!! I thanked the teller and asked for the name of the head teller and the branch manager, which she gave me along with some snippy attitude. I then said I would call Lakeland to help me and she said that's fine you can call Lakeland...Wow..nice. I was very shocked at the lack of customer service from the Norcross branch. Needless to say Lakeland immediately released the hold due to the circumstances of Irma damage. Thank you Lakeland PEFCU. NORCROSS you may want to work on the customer service skills of the associates that represent your branch.
D W, first and foremost we would like to tell you sorry that you were not satisfied by our customer service in the Norcross branch. Upon my investigation, it seems that there was a misunderstanding by one of our associates regarding mobile deposit check holds. I am very happy to hear that the check was released, and I assure you that your complaint has been handled very strongly and strictly. We hope your tree-cutting went well, and that you and are family have recovered from Hurricane Irma. -Marketing

I have only dealt with the Norcross Branch but I a disappointed to say the lease. They are rude and inefficient. I do not normally write reviews but numerous times the service has been so lacking I felt it to be necessary in this case. As my husband is an employee of Publix I am well aware of what this brand is supposed to stand for and this branch is not living up to its name. I had hoped to use them for our home and auto loans as well but if the service thus far is an indication of what future dealings will be I think I will look elsewhere.
We would like to tell you sorry that you are not satisfied with our service. We would have reached out to you sooner, but this name is not on file. Is it possible that you can give us more details by calling us at our Norcross Branch? Please ask to speak to the Branch Manager 770-613-0452. Hope to hear from you soon! -Marketing

Horrible services. I was initially approved for a car loan and I couldn't figure out what car I wanted, loan expired and had to reapply. Upon second application I was denied having provided the SAME FINANCIALS in the original application. I'm withdrawing my money here and taking it to a better bank. DO NOT BANK HERE.
Conner, thank you for letting us know about this. Can you please contact our Norcross branch so that we can get this addressed? 770-613-0452 Thank you. -Marketing

Went in to open a new account. Didnt know what to expect. Had to google pic so I could see just where it was. Easy to find. Downtown Norcross. Kristen who was at the front was so sweet and helpful. She walked me thru Everything. Explained what was going on and how they were different than other banks. The ppl there were all so nice. A great place to do business.....Luv'd it

Everytime i call there is an issue with customer service. This is the worst branch, it doesn't deserve to have Publix attached to it. I called and spoke with 3 different employees out of the 3, 2 were extremely rude and impatient.

I was helped today by Elizabeth Curtis. She was extremely polite and got me in and out quickly thanks!
Thanks for the five stars, Jiggys! We'll let Elizabeth know that you value her as much as we do. Thank you for being a PEFCU member!
