Inherited an account here and have had it closed for about a week now. This bank operates like it's the dark ages. Closing early, rude customer service, outdated facilities and services, etc. Went round and round to make my account work before going elsewhere. Much easier to bank anywhere else, I'm not sure why anyone would choose to continue doing business at Prosperity.
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry we were unable to meet your expectations. Please contact us at 1-800-531-1401 so that we can make things right.

I opened a checking acct at this location a several months ago. Anyway, the acct kind of stayed dormant for a few months until the past few weeks. I went through the drive thru to make a deposit last month (mid August) with the intent of starting to transition into this bank from Teachers. The girl that helped me was very abrupt, unfriendly and basically cut me off mid sentence, giving me the impression she had better things to do. I let that go... I went back today but decided to use the lobby. When I walked in the lady who sits to the right pretty much ignored me. And actually shes the one who opened my acct. I walked up to the teller windows, and again ignored by THREE employees. I stood there and stood there, even turned back and made eye contact with the lady at the desk in the front, she just shuffled some papers ,and went to the copier. No, "we'll be right with you."..nothing, just like I'm a ghost standing there. This ignoring goes on for like 7 maybe 8 minutes, minimum. I'm about ready to walk out at this point. The girl that finally helped me after nearly ten minutes, pretty much acted like I was interrupting something.I have never been treated like this at First Financial, or Teacher's. So this is 3 times I experienced rudeness, including the day I opened the acct.

If they are not going to give cashiers checks through the drive thru then they need to wear their masks. The woman who helped me had her mask off her face the whole time. Their was only one worker who was wearing a mask in the whole building. People are still dying and quite a few elderly were in the building. They could also be nicer.
Hi Jen, Thank you for letting us know about your experience. We apologize for not providing better service and will use your feedback to train our employees.

Worst experience ever , I work for a company that goes through them and they literally claim we miscounted our money almost every time and has given us the wrong change fund multiple times. I wish we could go back to our old bank cause this is ridiculous

To use as for a checking account is fine but do not expect great customer service. Number takes you to local bank but they will transfer you to customer service line even if you ask for someone at the local branch. When closing my account there was never a question as to why I was leaving, which was poor customer service, so no apology was ever given. NSF and over withdrawal fees are ridiculous. Had this bank for nearly 5 years and happy to leave as of yesterday.

Lori Grow has no idea what she is doing! My parents have had the displeasure of dealing with her during their mortgage process and she made mistake after mistake. They have had to reschedule closing on their new home nearly a dozen times due to her incompetence. She can’t answer many questions and never answers her phone.

Awesome bank. Most friendliest people work there at the Barrow branch. Love going in and seeing all the smiling faces. They know me by name and I appreciate all of their hard work and love for their jobs.

Rude lady helping my daughter and I! She looked miserable won’t be returning to this location again! This location needs to hire better people with better attitudes!
