I would give zero stars if I could. I’ve been with this company since 2007, and have never had a claim. They did not renew my policy due to my roof being 15 years old. What makes this situation completely unacceptable is that they never notified me! I only found out when my mortgage company sent me a notice stating I had no homeowners insurance, and let me know they’d be purchasing insurance if I did not send proof otherwise. My home hasn’t been covered since June 15, 2022. When I called my homeowners insurance agent, she claimed that they had not been notified about the drop in coverage either. Fortunately, my agent has secured me a policy with another company. Had I known that I needed to replace my roof to renew my policy with ASI/Progressive, I certainly would’ve done so. In any event, I’m in the process of replacing it now. However, ASI/Progressive will never get my business again.

ASI used to be wonderful until Progressive got involved. Now the customer service is terrible. They just messed up our homeowner's payment and cancelled our policy. Completely unacceptable!

After 17 years homeowners insurance with no claim. Homeowners insurance is dropping and no other insurance carriers or options were provided. Buy insurance anywhere else but here. I'd give zero rating if I could.

Progressive is the only homeowner insurance company in Louisiana that I know of that has a $500 or $1,000 deductible on hurricane damage or named tropical storms. All other insurance companies charge you 2% of the value of your home for the deductible and 1% deductible on other perils.

Waste of time and unprofessional. Awful dealing with them. Spent over an hour on the phone getting a policy in place. Didn't hear back from them. When I called back and talked to them for another hour they told me they can't insure me for some obscure reason they pulled out of their hat. Don't waste your time and go somewhere else.

Had a lightning strike claim on the 4th of July. It took 2 months of dealing with adjuster after adjuster (4 total) to finally get things settled. They were unprofessional and really didn't have a clue as to what was going on with my claim. It was a terrible experience. Someone called me today from the claims department about my request to reopen my claim. The only problem is I didn't reopen my claim. I cancelled my policy and got coverage elsewhere. Steer clear at all costs.

I had a claim that started 7 months ago and I’m still dealing with these people. This is a horrible company to deal with and the worst customer service. Every time they say they have sent out a check they don’t. Weeks, months go by with them saying “it’s in the mail”. Or “I’ll see what’s going on” and they never get back with you. There was a check that “was lost in the mail”. I doubt it was ever sent out. This is the most unprofessional company I’ve ever dealt with. I’m canceling my coverage with them and taking my business to a trusted professional company. Please don’t waist your money or time with Progressive Home.

I made a claim and still waiting; horrible customer service all around. I call and get voice mail. Sent them my estimate as requested weeks ago; still nothing. We clearly won't be able to count on them in an emergency, so if you can, go elsewhere for coverage.

The other negative reviews about Progressive Home/ASI are true. Do NOT believe the ads or their website selling you superior customer service and a stress-free process where you are their top priority because my experience has been completely opposite - they are unreliable, dismissive and I have been stressed out since day one that I submitted my first and only claim. As a matter of fact, working with Progressive Home/ASI, I have incurred additional damage and out-of-pocket costs for the repair of my roof. Progressive Home/ASI will take your money and raise their rates but they absolutely have NOT been helpful. And if you do not heed this and other warnings and you choose to waste your hard earned money, just know that if Kristina D is assigned to your claim, I advise you to immediately ask for another claims adjuster. Immediately.

I WARN everyone looking into insurance not to use ASI for your home owners policy. They will not take care of you if you need them. I had a burglary and a gun and tools were stolen from my vehicle. They refused to reimburse me for the loss of my $2000 generator. They asked me for a picture of it.... I bought this generator 2 years ago... Long story short I will never use them again. They can lose my business insurance as well....
