Very disappointed. Scheduled online for an oil change, tire rotation and NYS inspection. Upon drop-off, the person didn't know how to use the system to check in the car and the person that did know how to use it was out sick apparently. They ended up doing a 30,000 mile service, which we clearly did not ask for and never completed the inspection. The service manager was very rude and unapologetic on the phone, blaming the extra $300 charges and service on the computer glitch. We will not be returning there again for service or to buy another Subaru.

Over the years I tried to buy three cars from them but they weren't interested in selling so I ended up getting them elsewhere. The service dept. works just fine if you have the time to wait for an appointment. They are eminently useless in an emergency though since I cannot be without a working car for several days while waiting for a slot to open up in their calendar.

The lady on the phone is pretty rude but the service people are nice. Expect to take a whole day or even a few days for whatever you are getting done because they always overbook appointments.

After taking my Subaru Outback to Pleasantville Subaru's service department to address a warranty issue, I now conclude that it is a terribly managed dealership. They communicate poorly. They do not have the customer's interest in mind. I do not typically write reviews but they really pissed me off. Save yourself aggravation. Take your car elsewhere.
It's our intention to always keep our customer's best interest in mind, however we must follow Subaru's warranty policy and procedure guidelines. Our team was trying to gather the pertinent information to perform an accurate diagnosis of your oil light concern. Our records indicate that your last oil change was performed 11/16/2017 at 75,459 miles. Your vehicle as of today, 11/01/2018, has 90,250 miles on it. This indicates the vehicle did not have an oil change for 14,791 miles, which would be one cause for the oil light to illuminate since it was past due for an oil change. The sales staff is short, rude, and unhelpful. I was trying to connect to the service department, and some staff would simplify hang up on me. When I finally reached the service department, they were incredibly unhelpful, telling me no one was available today to look up service records and would not tell me a time to call back so I could have questions about a vehicle answered. Needless to say, I will not be visiting Prestige Subaru anytime soon, even as an official Subaru Ambassador.
