Friendly little credit union. I am not even a customer from their bank, rather a sister CU and they helped me. The teller was very helpful.

I went in trying to get a secure credit card and they took 2 weeks to see me and when I did show up, Cheyenne still didn’t come out to see me, she had the banker telling me that she needed more info and then she’ll be able to see me when I could of pulled up the information right then and there with my phone and Cheyenne still didnt want to see me. Horrible costumer service and the security guy who was there was talking to us very rudely. I have things to do to and they just had me running around wasting my time. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. Security will yell at you and workers treat you horrible. I wish I could rate 0 stars. After all this and after I talked to them about taking my business elsewhere they still ran my credit days after I put in my request to cancel everything. Worst people ever! They get robbed every other week. Worst bank ever. Don’t trust your money there.

I went to Power Credit Union because my Credit Union was in Pueblo and they were a sister bank. They were able to take care of everything my bank in Pueblo would do without the trip so I opened an account. It only took ten minutes and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

Easy access through drive thru. There isn't an ATM or any kind of 24 hour access. However, with that being said their customer service is always above par, efficient, and more important, delivered with a smile. Im with a sister credit union and Power Credit Union has always gone out of their way to assist with deposits, withdrawals, transfers etc. Highly recommend.

I believe the kind reviews here are fake. I went to them as a co-op bank to withdraw cash from my account. The teller NEVER mentioned a $5 fee for it. Had I known, I would have just gone to an ATM and paid less. The teller wasn't rude or anything, just really nonchalant and failed to express such an important detail. I know, it's $5... it's just my choice was taken away from me without that information shared.

I have had accounts with so many banks and PCU is easily the worst in every conceivable way possible. They have no ATM, their fees are high, the staff is slow, processing times for transfers take five times longer than other banks. Last week I went by to cash a check written to me by another account holder and they took the amount of the check out of MY account and then charged me an overdraft fee on it. This also caused an issue with the person who wrote the check’s account because they didn’t have the check draft for days after they were told it was cashed. I can’t wait to get back to Trinidad and close my account.

My regular bank changed their hours which made banking more difficult for me. So I decided to get an account at Power because they are open later. But there have been a lot if issues in the last 10 of so months I have been with them. I ordered checks... But they never came. So about 6 weeks later I asked about them and they ordered me some more. These came but that is when I realized that I had to pay for them. I think they were about $27 and they charged me both times even though I never received the first set. The checks they did send came in a large and cumbersome folder with very few checks, maybe 3 check books. I don't remember then telling me that I would have to pay for my checks and assumed that at least the first order would be free because every other bank that I have used have me my first ones free. I had to call the Pueblo office to try and get my money back.... Brings me to the next issue. Their phone tree is very convoluted and makes it difficult to actually speak with a customer service representative. All of the branches get funneled through the same phone tree which makes it less user friendly for the customer. Apparently only 1 person can accually get me my refund for the checks I never received. He never returned my call. I took a credit card loan to pay for some work being done at my home. When I tried to make the deposit I was told that they were going to put a 10 day hold on the check because I didn't already have that amount in my account. I took the check to my other bank. They deposited it without a hold and I paid my plumber that day. The mobile deposit app is difficult to use. Takes some time to get the check lined up perfectly before it will deposit. They also changed it recently so now I'm addition to endorsing the check you also have to put the name of the bank and the account number.... Which BTW I don't know. For some reason my card was declined on a Saturday even though I had money in the account. I had to wait the rest of the weekend without access to my money. I called and changed the pin on Monday and spoke with a service rep that confirmed my account was not locked and that my card should be working.... The next weekend i was declined again. I closed my accounts.

Power credit Union is a sister company to my credit agency, and the last experience I had there I was gonna post my review. I decided not to but after yesterday I've decided to post my review and never go back to power credit Union. I've been going to this branch for about 5 months now due to the fact that it's conveniently located. Well the first times I've been there they've demanded I display my I.D. to make my payment! I told them that I thought this was ridiculous, but they insist it's a security issue... Well ok then. Now the last few times I've been in the security guard has been demanding that I take off my sun glasses or I have to leave. So yesterday was the straw that broke the camels back. So I went in and I took off my glasses before I went in, and the guard demanded that I take off my hat... Lol! Really?? I kinda think I've been identified already as the rude customer who doesn't wanna show his i.d. or take off his glasses!! I feel like a criminal in that place and i really don't appreciate a feeling of having to be in compliance just to make a payment. I am sure there is a reason for their pro-active approach to security, but I am not the one who did the wrong here. I'm merely the customer !!. I actually had tried calling the branch manager in the past, and he/she never returned my call... So to sum this up, this is merely my opinion and review, but if u the "Customer" goes in to this branch, be prepared to comply with their demands!

Nothing like doing construction all day, going to your bank, not recognizing anyone there anymore. Then getting yelled at by, never seen before, armed security to take your hat off. My hair was messy, sweaty and greasy from working in a hot house all day. I was extremely embarrassed. I never even had to do this at banks in metropolitans. The only places I've ever had to take my hat off is the Alamo, the White House and church. Such great small town charm here.
