Went in today to open a new account. Could not have had better service. Very friendly and helpful. Megan was very informative and helped me understand the different type of accounts they offer. Very glad I chose to switch here. Couldn’t ask for better service and even better people.

I never write reviews but felt so strongly after that experience today at the Bardstown branch that I had to. Went through drive-through and could not get anyone to wait on me. So I went inside and waited 15 minutes as they waited on the next person in the drive through and also took phone calls. After all this, would not cash my checks because in haste, I did not bring my ID in and I bank there on a regular basis but they said they did not know me. Waited in line for 15 minutes only to have them tell me they could not cash my checks. I will be moving my accounts to somewhere with better customer service. They never have enough people working and even those that are are not friendly.

I typically only visit this bank to use the ATM and rarely go inside, however, I'm rating it 1-star on the service I experienced inside today. I had to go inside because I needed quarters for laundry. My first annoyance was there were no withdraw slips to be found. I had to wait in line to ask for a withdraw slip, step out of line to fill it out, and get back in line which is not very efficient. I get up there and give her my slip. I told her I'm withdrawing $40, $10 of it I wanted to be in quarters. She asked for my ID which is fine. I have an Indiana license and this is KY so she asked if I was visiting someone here. I could tell by her tone it wasn't a making small talk question, it was more of "I don't think you're who you say you are, so I'm going to keep asking you questions to get you to fess up!" I told her I worked in Bardstown at the library. She said, "You drive that far? They must pay you a lot of money!" It was her tone that started to annoy me. She proceeds to type a lot of information in her computer, and she's looking at my ID and looking at me, looking at my ID and looking at me, and continues to do so as she's typing. I understand they have to follow protocol and they're protecting their customers but I felt like I was being treated like a crook when it was MY account. My license and PNC account have the same address so I don't understand why she was taking so long to get my money. If I was doing something shady, I wouldn't be withdrawing a little amount like $40. Alas, there aren't any other banks that are in both Bardstown and Indiana, so I'll be stuck with them a little while longer...

I've been with them since 1985, in Ohio. My son also has an account, he needed verification of his account for automatic check deposit, they acted as I was speaking a different language! This was the Elizabethtown Branch.

Do not bank here! They do not help their customers and they do not work with you on any kind of extenuating circumstances. It's an absolute shame, and if you have any charges pop up, expect the complete run around and zero solutions.

Go in there all the time just to make change. They refused today stating I had to have an account. Bulls#%t since when if I need a roll of quarters do I have to open an account...

The manager was extremely rude to someone I wrote a check to, when they came back with more identification, she even took it upon herself to jump in front of the teller to deny the check again.....really you need 3 IDs for a 25 dollar check???????????

Have always had very good experiences when using this branch. Staff is always friendly.

Worst bank branch in the county...most of the time it takes 15 minutes just to drop a payment, one or two people working, Terrible!

Don't expect to call and talk to a human being here. Oh and good luck getting your checks deposited. ATM is out of order half the time and mobile banking only works half the time.
