I used to be a very happy customer of PNC, until the moment I wanted to close out my accounts….. the same day I had the unfortunate luck that my card numbers were stolen, not their fault so they started an investigation where I mentioned I wanted to close my account but was told I couldn’t. You would think they would put some sort of freeze on my account to not take fees cause I’m not putting money in cause they know I fully intend to close it but no! They wasted all my money on fees so I owed the bank more money after the investigation closed than I did before! Ok that’s fine I payed it all in my location and was closed they wouldn’t be able to close it that second but they could they next day and promised me they would take care of it, only for a week later to get an email about low balance in my account! I had to call back upset and they thankfully closed out my account over the phone but this whole process has been beyond ridiculous!

I went to deposit money into the ATM, put my money in and the Machine tells me that the transaction cannot be processed and told me to remove my card and kept my money! I called customer service apparently it takes 30 to 90 days to do an investigation then was told if they don’t find an error I would be charged fees on the money that their ATM stole from me!

After being a customer for over 35 years, i must say run from this bank, do not walk. The customer service is terrible. Our payment was two days late due to the mail running late. Now you would think after calling them and explaining that it was a mail issue, they would have not charged us a late fee. Not the case. The person on the phone was rude. We told her that we were cancelling our credit card with them over this. She did not care. I called the branch we deal with and asked for some help. The manager seemed to think that we were not treated fairly. She told us someone would call to help us. Later that night we did get a call from someone. After they told us we did not have to pay all the fee, we now owed $5.00 for her trouble. We paid with a credit card to get it finished. However we will be leaving this bank completely. How do you justify even putting us through this over a late fee we had no controll over. After 35 years of loyalty. We never were late with anything before. They could see our account, yet made two attempts at collecting a late fee by mail.

Reposting my review since PNC deleted it which is both unethical and pathetic because it was a detailed review of the most recent horrendous experience which I will keep reposting since somehow other one-star reviews which either have no text or very little text, are not deleted. I guess PNC doesn't appreciated detailed reviews: A few months into the pandemic, we waited about 30 minutes in line at the drive-thru. There was only one drive-thru open which is pathetic, given that lobby use is prohibited and it was a work day. People don't have time to wait 30 minutes! If you are not having staff work the lobby, you MUST have more than one drive-thru open, period. Very thoughtless lack of service. If we didn't live so far from the PNC that was local to us when we lived in NJ, we would drive there as that branch consistently gave good service. In addition, I have had more than one very poor service encounter with this PNC on Dryland Way.

I went to this location to the ATM to deposit my money and IT ATE MY MONEY $50! It did not give it back. I had to wait until the next day at 7 AM to call customer service they said they have to do an investigation that will take up to 10 days to be able to refund my money if that is even possible. I hate pnc bank with a passion.

I generally don't love banks, but I'm giving a great review because Anna K was extremely helpful to me today. She showed me there was another card that would earn me double the rewards on business purchases and helped me with a question I had regarding payments from my account.

PNC business model makes funds available before the check is paid. Checks and funds are posted to the account before the money exists. Upon pointing this out, the manager, Diroli, simply repeated that banks are not liable for bounced checks. Even after explaining multiple times that the problem was that funds were "made available" before the check was cleared, the manager simply repeated that PNC would not be held liable.

Consistently the worst branch in the area, very slow service, particularly at the drive-through. I avoid this branch whenever possible. Some of the tellers are pleasant, but that doesn't make up for the extremely slow service.

Worst customer service, we got there at 1:45pm and the teller Janine said they couldn’t help us open a simple checking account because they closed at 2pm, after I complained about it she change it to “you also don’t have an appointment” I guess she was on a hurry to get home instead of providing good customer service. Never going back to this place again I will not recommend it either.

After the remodel of this location, there is only a single small space for people to prepare their transactions before stepping in line for the teller. Nobody enjoys the errand to the bank, why make it even more of a hassle? Ill drive a few miles out of my way to use a different location from now on.
