Yesterday morning around 845 a.m. I went to the bank to make a cash deposit. The ATM on the outside would not accept cash so I pulled around and went into the ATM in the inside. My card was accepted but my PIN would not enter. Cancel Transaction did not work either. I had to be at work by 9 a.m. . I noticed there were 3 employees inside of the bank, I knocked on the glass door and motioned that I needed assistance with the ATM. The employee that came to help me was "Ellie". When I tried explaining what I needed, she cut me off and said that I needed to push Enter to put my PIN in. Of course, if she would have let me finish instead of assuming what I was going to say, she would have known that I had already tried that. When she saw that the ATM was not working properly , she stated that I would "just have to wait until it times out and your card will be spit back out". I asked her how long this might take as I needed to be at work soon. Her reply "I have no idea". Shortly after that the machine did shut down. She said she could retrieve card as the machine did not "spit it out". Shortly after this, she came back, said she could not get my card. They could print me a new one when the bank opened. I explained again that I needed to be at work and would have to come back. My point in this email is to say that Ellile's entire body language, facial expression, tone of voice was very rude, dismissive, and very poor example of customer service. I understand that she truly could not do much about the ATM but her attitude could have gone a long way to ease my frustration with the situation. I was more upset by the way she treated me. I get it, the bank was not quite open, I was interrupting her social time I guess. I have been an RN for 35 years and if I ever dared to speak to a patient, family, doctor, or other co-workers in the tone she used- I would have been fired on the spot. Today, I returned to the bank, I see Ellie sitting at the desk at the door-- terrible place for a person to sit with such poor customer service skills. I had a teller who not only assisted me but also was assisting the drive up window customer. She was kind, polite, and I only wish I had gotten her name because she should be the frontline person at your door to greet customers. I love the PNC on Dual Hwy and have been a customer for quite awhile but this situation has made me think a bit whether I will continue there.

Best service at a bank I've had in a long time. They were very busy and I can see why. If I lived closer I would definitely make this my bank of choice. Thank you PNC team for your outstanding customer service.

Great customer service for in-person visits. Terrible phone call experiences because nobody picks up when I call. At the very least, there's silence instead of on-hold music. But 5+ minutes of silence? Really? I live less than 2 miles away, but I should be just as able to call in as everyone else.

Awful service, Rude bank manager, asked 1 time courtesy for wire transfer fee, which i wasn’t aware of it. Thats not a customer service go and open account in td bank you will see what is customers service. Forget about other the manager has a No face even if you would like to say its not possible. Learn to chose good words. And get trained through td bank, if manager is like that than how would be other bankers or teller . If any senior members reading this review go ahead and check the account with this bame i have realy good balance . But this bank is not worth it .. i next thing i will move my amount and leave a maintenance balance, only pnc dosnt know how to deal customers

My wife and I had a great experience at PNC opening up a new account. David worked with us and he was extremely courteous, helpful, and got us setup with everything we needed.

On Thursday, 6/11/2020 I visited the PNC on Dual Highway Hagerstown MD to make a deposit via the drive through ATM. The two checks were inserted into the machine and the amount confirmation was incorrect. I used the option to return the checks and attempt to re-deposit. The machine then jammed and instructed me to remove the debit card and contact my financial institution. Being that I was at my financial institution, I pulled around and waited an additional 30 min to pull up to the video camera to speak to a teller. I explained the situation to Jennifer Keller who recruited Tamarah Clark to assist. They explained that they only "load the ATM" and have "nothing to do with the machine" so all they could do is file a dispute with the bank and my money should be in my account the following day. Well it is the following week and there is no money deposited in my account, nobody from PNC has called to follow up. This is an outright failure. I should have stayed in line until the matter was resolved. I feel foolish for taking the word of the tellers who obviously had no intention of resolving this matter. DO NOT USE THIS BANK

I just switched to PNC Bank from a competing bank, and I have to say the experience was incredible. I don't usually write reviews but I had to write this one because I was blown away by the experience. Everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful and they went above and beyond to help me find the best solutions for my business banking needs. I would highly recommend them if you care about customer service, flexible options and a technology savvy bank.
