    Pinnacle Federal Credit Union is a shadow of what they once were. Even long before coronavirus, I could never get anybody on the phone left messages, no callbacks. Just got worse and worse over time. I started with them in 1993, and they were excellent and the most helpful financial institution I’ve ever dealt with. But now it’s just long over. I canceled my account & moved on to a new financial institution. Sad to see how they went from a “Class A” Credit Union to a, D-. 😟

    Scam… I was preappoved for 10K loan and I applied and sign documents and within days it was denied .. they wasted my time I don’t have a bad credit no late payments … will be trying to get my inquiry removed

    I think a lot of the negative reviews have to be attributed to pandemic frustration. I have never had an issue with staff here, occasionally have delays getting through on phone but I don't know of any business that doesn't have this problem. Our culture has become a spoiled brat "I want it now" type. No one is patient, people are rude and then expect employees to smile and wish them a beautiful day. I have been with them since my Supermarket General Corp days so 1986'ish and I remain loyal to them. If you had a bad experience go there and state your concern in a respectful manner and give them a chance. Diane and Pam have been extremely helpful and patient as have many others. Times are tough. Be kind.

    The bank tellers need to communicate with their supv if they don’t know how to handle a deposit! I’ve been a member w/ this institution since 1989 and I never had a problem, but if they want 3 more stars retrain that teller! I mailed my check to them 3x’s, but thanks Pam for helping me🙂 cause I was ready to change institutions

    We're new to Pinnacle. Applied for a auto loan. Per the conversation I had with a loan processor, my income wasn't enough so I had to include my wife. Loan processor told me all was ok and even gave me my monthly payment. We made an appointment to go see and test drive the vehicle. I called loan officer back to ask one additional question only to be told, she made a mistake with the math and now the loan wasn't approved. What?!?? Made a mistake with the math? Had to cancel auto appointment. Remind you I called them. She didn't call me. What type of fly by night institution is this? At this point I may even close my account with them and go somewhere else. Horrible! Will definitely seek financing elsewhere.

    I called on the phone first and could not be happier with the service. I got connected with someone who cared to listen to my needs and was able to help me out. Great experience working with Kathleen Haak. I would recommend this credit union to anyone. ATM on site was also a very neat feature. Solid 5 stars from me!

    Ive recently had an issue with this bank and felt extremely disrespected. However, I received immediate feedback regarding the situation I experienced which makes the world of difference. I appreciate the personal attention and those that pride themselves on customer service.

    Whenever I have to deal with customer service here it is a nightmare! Just getting through to someone takes at least 20 minutes. When you finally reach a live person, they act as if they are doing you a favor by doing what they are being paid for. I spoke to a least four different people concerning a mistake THEY made on my account and each one was ruder than the next. Funny thing is that I would not have had to call if the person who posts car payments to customers accounts did their job correctly! No apology no nothing! No stars are deserved!

    Worst financial institution ever! Their rates as a credit union is higher than online banks, why would anyone would borrow or save with a credit union that has very few branches and options, while online banks have more ways to access your money, and better customer service, with better rates?! Also they have what they call dormancy fees, leave your money there for a year, and without notifying you they will steal a part or all of it and close your account due to inactivity! Again online financial institution doesn't have this silly thing. Stay away from them. Let alone that updating your personal information such as address change, is impossible to be done online, you have to go to a branch to do such a simple thing, even though you can log in to your account with your password. You still can not do it online.
