I had the wonderful opportunity of working with Egan O'Brien for a property that I purchased in CT, in the fall of 2019.  As many people who're looking to purchase a property will encounter: finding an outstanding lender/broker to work with, is a challenge.  After reading the reviews for multiple lenders/brokers, I'm pleased that I decided to work with PFS Mortgage!! Egan is one of the most personable, knowledgeable, and dedicated brokers that a person could work with!!  Throughout the entire mortgage process, he went above and beyond to ensure that everything went smoothly.  He also got me one of the most competitive interest rates at that time!  Along with Egan being an exceptional broker, the other staff that I dealt with at PFS Mortgage were just as wonderful.  Thus, for anyone who is looking for an OUTSTANDING mortgage company and team to work with, PFS Mortgage is a GEM in the industry!!

I just closed on a purchase mortgage with PFS. I’ve worked with Frank and Kathleen O’Brien and their team multiple times since 1987. I’ve purchased 4 homes and refinanced at least 6 times with PFS. I never go anywhere else! They have good programs and competitive rates and they know what fits my needs and preferences. Frank even calls me from time to time if rates are moving to tell me what their best programs are. The process is easy and their follow up is excellent which is especially important in a purchase transaction. You won’t be disappointed if you go with PFS.

I worked with Egan O’Brian from PFS Mortgage to close a cash out refinance loan on an investment property I own. Egan is a fantastic mortgage broker who is great to work with. He did an excellent job of having an initial introductory conversation to understand what I was looking for and spent a few days to shop around for the best product. During the loan closing process, Egan did not rush to lock a rate or pull my credit but rather waited for the best timing to get a competitive rate and terms. He also did a great job of coordinating with the necessary parties to ensure we had the proper documentation ready for the underwriter, answered any questions I had quickly (even on weekends) and kept me updated on the next steps. The whole closing process was stressless and went very smoothly which is largely due to how effective and organized Egan is in getting a loan to close. I highly recommend Egan to prospective borrowers and home buyers.

Update 7/7/21: I just completed a refinance with Egan at PFS. Through all the mortgage speed bumps I hit during COVID, Egan was there to guide me in the right direction and secure me a great rate. He took every challenge head on and made sure we got the deal done. I highly recommend Egan and the team for a first time home buyers, those looking to refinance, and everything in between. The PFS team was a pleasure to work with. They were able to get me pre approved in no time, and walked me through the whole process. As a first time home buyer, naturally I had plenty of questions- PFS made sure to answer all of them promptly and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process.
