PFFCU - Police and Fire Federal Credit Union Bustleton Ave, Philadelphia

You have to be cop, firefighter, or family to join I think. The services are better in some ways than my old bank, not as convenient in other ways but overall I like being a member. Handling of large amounts of money is slower, doing a trust account was easier, notary services were free and good.

I was in a medically induced coma due to complications from Covid over the holidays. I was in the hospital from Dec 23rd until a week ago. After being released and returning home I learned that my account was over drawn while away, and that PFFCU had not only paid out money that was not in my account and penalized me for it, but also that they close my account, reported me to Chexsystems, and put a mark on my credit lowering my score... While I was in a COMA. I talked to corporate and their response was "well when you pay off the $371 you can open another account with us." Not in a million years would I give them a penny ever again. My advice, watch who you trust with your banking. Promises of helping people are quickly erased and instead replaced with malicious attacks to hinder you even further. Shame on you PFFCU.

Overall this is a good place for banking. It is efficient the service is good, however the tellers can be slow. The facility is clean. The hours are limited. And, they need another ATM.

So happy that I closed out my account here. Always a long line with only 2 tellers working. Not customer service friendly.

Well, I like credit union better than a regular banks, but unfortunately just 3 stars today, Grant location and Bustleton location couldn't resolve my issue, Bustleton rep promised to call back by the end of the day and its been 4 days and still no phone call. Based on this I must say the the customer service is not good, promised to help, keep your promise. At this point will give it a second thought about switching my account.

Horrible horrible !!!!!! Never bank with this bank. Customer service is rude, and never want to fix customers issues, or even favor helping customers in critical situations. Please take my advice and bank with another bank. This will help you avoid future banking issues if you were thinking of banking with them.

The bank teller was very nice and helpful, made sure I was didn't leave confused of a issue I had overall I had almost used every big banks by far I recommend this one

Susan at the teller in this location was amazing, she attended to all of my needs and helped me with everything I needed! I definitely will be using this location as my primary!
