    Applied for a loan with good credit scores , a current loan with the CU and good income . We got the run around for more than 2 days speaking with several different officers that made us feel like we where wasting their time. They ran the wrong amount we where asking for , claimed we “we didn’t need the loan”, and said we weren’t good enough customers. No loan officer gave us a legitimate reason for their decision. The manner that I was spoken to was a first for me as disrespectful, belittling, and extremely rude. TRUST ME there are plenty of other institutions to pick from in amarillo SO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE . We applied for a loan somewhere else and got approved same day for more money.

    I've held off giving these folks a review for a long time. Been a customer since 2016. They financed a vehicle for me. And later without fully explaining what they were doing. Refinanced that same vehicle. My fault for not asking the right questions I guess. Ended up paying for my truck twice basically. Fine whatever. Banking is a business. Taking advantage of a customer's ignorance is good business ethics I'm sure. So. After paying the truck off finally. I was told my title would be in the mail after a few weeks. Great. Markets hot for used vehicles right now. Maybe I can recoup some of that extra money I gave to peoples. . NOPE! After calling several times and speaking with three different loan officers. Nobody could call me back to tell me where the title was. Three months had gone by. So I finally had time out of my busy schedule to go up there. Apparently they never had the title. I was told its somewhere in New Mexico. They gave me a release of lein and basically said good luck with that. So not only did they take advantage of a ignorant customer to gain more interest on the loan. After paying it off, they're absolutely no help in tracking down this title. And waited three freaking months to tell me they didn't have it. That could have easily been relayed to me in one of the three phonecalls I made before going up there. I will be closing all my accounts with peoples. I will tell everyone that asks, not to bank with them. Other notes. Their ATMs around town rarely work. Don't give receipts. And are in such poor repair, you can't even read the screen hardly. All around terrible credit union. For your sake. Don't do business with them.

    Constantly having issues with their systems where you lose access to your money. Happens at least every few months. Very frustrating when you are trusting your paychecks with them. Wish I never started banking here or took out loans.

    Been locked out of my banking info 30+ times and if I spend over $75 tpfcu flags my account for fraud without asking me. But when I had $200 stole from me from a gas pump they let it go threw then they only gave me $180 back worst bank ever!!!!!!!

    I had the pleasure of talking with Kenja Purkey, the Marketing Director, at the AmTech Career Academy Career Fair. Kenya was super courteous, answered all my questions, and genuinely cares about what she does. Not only did she answer my questions, she asked me how I was doing and let me converse! Even as a high school scholar, I was genuinely impressed with Kenja!! As a medical arts student, she changed my thoughts on the workforce!

    I have had many problems with this bank, now the systems are down and I don’t have access to my account at all. Definitely closing my account after this.

    They have the worst customer service. There’s maybe two people who actually know what they’re doing and can help. The rest are class A a**holes. I don’t understand how one can help with a problem easily and then the same with another associate can’t do anything for you. They make you feel bad for calling. I don’t recommend tbh

    Worst customer service and even worse organization skills by all employees! Got a boat that cost as much as a house in July it was an out of state purchase after weekly calls about tags registration we finally got the boat registered with tags in SEPTEMBER mind you our trailer still had no tags so legally we were unable to pull the boat. Finally they called to get something else signed and again the trailer tags were ask about and finally told the trailer has to be weighed then taken to the police department to build a title we were given again completely wrong information and times. The first time we were told parks and wildlife would issue our plates! We tried telling them they had nothing to do with plates but tried when we were registering the boat anyway. Let me remind you everyone in bank knew about this boat I assume due to the price and issues. Then a loan officer who was dating my husband over 10 yrs ago who dumped him via phone on his first phone call after he left for boot camp started snooping and stalking us both found out our address account info she was literally both our shadow on FB he had to tell her 6 yrs ago he wasn’t interested and to leave him alone and she continued for a short time. Then once she found out address she joins our community group ONLY FOR RESIDENTS her boss confirmed she wasn’t a resident. I had to tell her boss I was making a police report on stalking! After she was told about the police report she continued to message me via FB until I had to block her. I don’t recommend loans here even if it’s your last resort you will end up getting taken in the long run. Worst experience ever!!!!! If I could rate in the negatives I definitely would
