Peninsula Check Cashing Rockaway Beach Blvd, Queens

The Indian lady there needs to be fired. She has a very nasty attitude. She tried to insinuate I was fraudulently cashing a check for my little brother's survivor's benefits.

Rockaway needs another check cashier in the peninsula!!! The service here is trash. Every time I go with my 75 yr old mother that Indian lady gives my mother an attitude and looks so irritated when answering questions. She raises my moms blood pressure by being difficult and nasty.The young lady next to her has to do as the Indian lady’s says and she looks so frustrated by her boss’s energy. Terrible place to go to for business. The Indian lady is not professional at all. Please invest on your customer service staff.

I came here to cash my check since I work in the area and Really had the worst customer service experience I was respectful and nice to this Indian lady and answered all her personal questions which were (why did my employer give me 2 checks, what is my job tittle, how much I make, and why wasn’t it deposit in a bank acct.Which I never been asked this by any check cashier in my 42yrs of living. I presented a passport proof of address from rockaway and she was so annoyed and answered me with an attitude. If she doesn’t like working here why is she working there? Worst place to go too. That Indian Lady is a miserable person.

Wouldn't cash my check cause I didn't sign my check in front of her.

WESTER UNION IS NEVER WORKING AND THE INDIAN LADY THAT WORKS HERE IS EXTREMELY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL!! PLACE IS DINGY JUST LIKE THAT LADY. HORRIBLE PLACE TO GO TOO.

Was there about 2 hrs ago worst service ever. The woman that works there always looks annoyed. God forbid you have a question. I only went there because i needed a money order and the post office was closed. They close at 5. I went at 4 and the Money Order service wasn't available an entire hour before closing Horrible.

I jus came from there one of the worst customer service and also Indian lady was not polite I came into to store there was not a good afternoon or good evening welcome to peninsula check cashing I gave the lady my check to cash i was new customer she ask for my ID AFTER SHE ALREADY HAD MY CHECK IN HER HAND FOR 12 min then she ask me to write down my phone number and address I had got frustrated did not scream or react just simply gasp deeply then she yelled excuse me don’t be getting dam upset at me at this point I realize she didint realize her job is to satisfy the customer and not lose a new customer and she when I ask am I not a customer she then push my check and ID at me then told me leave I can’t cash your check in a vulgar tone which other customers also said wow that’s crazy it’s was unacceptable and not right at all and she didint know I work for company where we do reviews for different company’s great neighbor hood good establishment but beacause of this women who could work on customer service and also not eating at window this place is not recommended

This play is the worst check checking spot I've ever seen rude disrespectful what type of check checking u gotta live in the area or work then get that verified if I have a check and a ID is should get it cashed especially when u the only 1 n walking miles I had to walk from arverne beach 59 in a hot security uniform to them on beach 90 on a hot day to go through this to walk another 30 mins to another 1they need to be shut down I wouldn't give it a star if I didn't need to to give a review 👎👎👎👎👎👎

There is only one person working and it's always packed with people. Not good.
