Teller 4pm Friday 5/10/22 deliberately confrontational, abysmal customer service

I’m never the type to ever write a review on a certain place no matter how terrible the experience is but for the 1st time I felt very uncomfortable and humiliated me and my mother were on line to get a money order but we forgot one more but the lady I can’t remember her name but she had white hair was so nasty she said she can’t waste her time on us time is limited. That was the nastiest attitude I’ve ever gotten in my life. She should learn how to be patient and have some respect and manners. I apologize if this comes as an insult but I felt the need to speak up so experiences like this won’t happen again.

So it's my first time here, tried to cash my check. I get there shortly after noon on a Saturday and there was a line with just ONE employee. So I wait over 20 minutes for my turn. The employee tells me after reviewing my case, she's going to take another customer that's been waiting because my transaction will take a while. What kind of customer service is that??? I asked for my stuff back because I told her I'm sorry I have to go and the employee gave me an attitude. This is probably the worst service I've ever received and I'm in the service industry.

for the life of me i dont understand how there manager is still there, it doesnt get any more crooked then him , he lies he will tell you certain checks cannot be cashed there then when you go to another payomatic they say he lied and they cash it , he does everything to discourage you from paying your rent there ( nycha ) he will make up fake policies and say you need your i.d to prove you are the one on the rent reciept which is a lie its none of his buisness whos paying the rent he lies and says they dont accept debit he tells you that you have to take they money out of the a.t.m ( which has a fee ) then go over to the window and pay your rent ( which is another fee ) with my disabilities i cant leave home very often so my caregiver used to go there to pay me rent when anyone else is at the window no problem when hes at the window he refuses the transaction saying that the person paying has to be the one on the rent reciept when you ask him why that only seems to be a problem when hes there because everyone else does it he claims they are not suppose to take the payment either and that he will be diciplining them , i once brought 1 metro card and he charged me for 4 then wanted to claim that i asked for them and that he gave them to me his other worker told him how she heard from over there that i asked for one he made a big deal saying that i would have to call the district manager to see if they will give me my money back because he cant just give me the money back he basically stole from me he never gave me 4 cards only one and never refunded my money of 16 or so dollars and even though i insisted he look at the caera footage he said he cant do that either but if i call the district manager maybe they will refund me as a one time courtasy , my son had tried to pay my rent there using his own payment method it was denied by him saying only the person on reciept can do it and which woud be me and the card / payment has to have the same name as the person on the rent reciept , he claims that only i can pay it and only my name can be on the payment method which nycha disputes and if you pay nycha online on your own you can use anyones payment method , ex : my sons debit or credit ect my card was in the middle of being replaced at the time so i sent my money in my acct over to my sons acct so that i can pay my rent on time using my sons card but nope my son was denied , so a lot of us have boycotted that store we refuse give any money to payomatic hes a disgrace , not to mention some of the cashiers that have worked there lord have mercey i really dont know how some drug dealers and baby mommas of drud dealers with records were able to get jobs in there handling money please explain to me how it makes sense that you go into a payomatic to take a few dollars off of your ebt card ( that has your picture on it ) but you have to still show a state id or you cant remove your funds ? that happened to someone i know that was standing in line in front of me at another payomatic when she pointed out the fact that her picture was on he card and it was only a couple of dollars of her childs child support and that she didnt have any other id and she ddnt understand why she seem to be profiled she was told come back when you get another form of id , i have her call payomatic while i stood there with her thinking that this has to be a mistake and that once we spoke to someone it will be fixed but nope we were told they are allowed to make the rules as they see fit, my daughter has been turned away several times at different locations in an attempt to cash her checkes there she works for the summer youth program and has state id but the insist minors are not allowed to cash a check even if its their own they said the solution they claim is just find someone who can deposit it in their acct for her and just wait for it to clear terrble buisness needs to be shut down scammers !!

[Sat Aug 1st] Joanne is very condescending and unhelpful doesn't provide solutions. Never coming back here.

Staff is friendly. Service fees are more expensive than I expected
