    I had a terrible and frustrating experience at Patrick Hyundai today and I would suggest everyone not to even visit this place. The salesperson assigned to me was not knowledgeable about the SUV Hyundai Sanfa Fe. He kept calling this SUV as 'Honda Fe'.I tried 4-5 times to explain him i need to know the on-the-road price of the SUV so that i can compare the same with other dealers and make my decision. He then brought one sales manager who, although seemed to be very senior by age, didn't seem to have any experience of customer engagement and was racist by nature with no respect to customer and his culture. He even mentioned that negotiating is in my culture (Indian/Asian), which pissed me off and I immediately left the place. I never had such experience in my life. If they have such pathetic sales team I wonder what after-sales service they would provide. If you respect your culture, i would suggest you boycott these disrespectful and racist people.

    Was quoted 30-45 minutes for a routine oil change. Saw what I thought was my car being pulled to the front after about 30 minutes. No one came to get me after waiting for about 10 so I checked the license plate and sure enough it was mine. I checked at the desk and she said to speak with service. So I dragged my toddler with me and asked them what the ETA was. He said he didn't have paperwork back on it yet but understood I was anxious to get out of there with my little guy. We waited up front some more and still no one came to get us. I went back to service again and was told my keys were up front... Poor communication led to a nerve-wracking ordeal as I was just waiting for my ticking time bomb of a kid to go off. On top of that, the toys in the waiting room are super dirty and incomplete, making it even harder for me to entertain my little one. I always dread going because he gets filthy and plan on putting him right in the tub afterwards. I may investigate other local dealers for my next oil change...

    Upon dealing with the service department for a warrantee item, I paid over $200. Then a list of items were added that I was told I needed in excess of $700. This included brakes, tune up and belts. It is a 2009 with less than 80,000 miles. I said I needed a 2nd opinion. He insisted I do the work now, not telling me I could get a coupon online for the brakes at his dealership. So I left and went to a trusted local mechanic. He printed a recommended service page directly from Hyundai. I did not need a single thing this person at the dealership said I needed. Brakes were still over 50% good. I hate to say this, but buyer beware at this dealership. It seems the service department will deceive you to do maintenance work you simply do not need. They do not honor your warrantee. You will pay so much out of pocket that is not needed. I almost did....

    Hello service department is bed service they want to sale warranty program that time they told us you get 100% loners but my car in service they don’t have loners I call and asking any available loners they have one answer sorry right now loners is not available don’t service your car this dealer. I have a three Hyundai car and I go every time this dealership to service my three car but this last time I go. I am never go this dealership.

    Had reserved a car to buy through USAA car buying service, certificate and all. Was told it was available, I was ready to buy and then they sold the car to someone else who walked in. (I had to call to get this information.) I guess it is all fine with them, they said they were sorry?!?! ***Oops I got caught, kinda sorry.*** Just saying, if this happens to me then, it happens to others as well. Car Buyer Beware! Updated 8-7-19: Patrick Hyundai, thank you for your prerecorded response below. Since the original ratings post, I emailed your team numerous times. In the end, it is clear there is no desire to actually make any changes to fix the issue. In fact, in every email the blame was redirected elsewhere.

    The people from Patrick Hyundai in Schaumburg are THIEVES, LIARS and absolute AMATEURS. I had problems since day one I had to have service done on my car. I went for an oil change and when they checked my tire pressure, they never put back the original valve caps. I noticed that few days later and gave them a call to let them know. We agreed that they would put new valve caps on my next visit for oil change. Next time when I went for service, they put new caps but they didn't put the original plastic once. They put metal once, the so called "after market tire caps". As the cold months approached, the tire pressure went down a bit and the indication on the dashboard went on. Meanwhile, my oil was due for another change and I went to the dealer thinking that they would check my tire pressure and put some air in them. At the moment I had no idea that the metal valve caps were already seized and unable to be unscrewed. When they did the oil change, they never checked my tire pressure and completely IGNORED the indication on the dashboard. On the paperwork they gave me when I paid the bill, it was written that the tire pressure in all four tires was set to factory specification of 30, which is incorrect. On top of everything, when I picked the car, the old oil change sticker, that usually should be removed from the windshield and thrown in the garbage, was laying down on the floor mat. I interpreted this as "we can use your car as a garbage can". Anyway, on the next day I finally decided to put some pressure in the tires realizing they would never do it. That was when I realized why they didn't want to do it. Of course, I couldn't undo the valve caps. I gave them a call and they LIED to me that they never put the "after market" valve caps and it wasn't their fault. Instead, they put the blame on me, telling me that I put the "after market" caps. By knowingly ignoring the problem and not admitting their guilt, they put me, my wife and my three month old daughter under a serious risk. This is the horrible experience I had with Patrick Hyundai in Schaumburg. I wonder if and why anybody would trust people who lied to you in numerous occasions and a dealership which service department is not capable to do a simple tire pressure check.
