    This adventure started out at a different branch in Loudon ,which was very helpful and in fact contacted the Lenoir city branch. The reason being my account had been compromised and I just wanted to get it closed and open up a new one to protect me. The loudon branch had contacted Lenior city asking them if they could help, in which the replied they could help. I drove out there wasting my gas and time. The Lenior city branch was busy but when I had asked for help and told them the particulars of my situation and who I was, they then told me that couldn't close it today because I had one 4 dollar transaction on my account that was pending before they could cancel it. This process would be ready on the 17th and to come back then. Keep in mind the teller walked back and talked to the office staff. I never was spoken to by anyone other than the teller. It was a horrible experience and my time and money were wasted. I wont be going back to this branch in the future.

    What an experience. We had over 30k in our savings but was given a hassle to pull 2k from our accounts. Manager stated its ORNl policy for transactions over 1k. Guess we don’t need to keep our money here. Withdrew all of it and went to another bank to handle our accounts

    Three days and multiple calls just to change a checking account Address. Still unable. The people are nice but simply can not get the job done. Maybe time to change banks!!!

    This is the worse bank I’ve ever had. $15 bucks for a new card. They failed to mention if you call visa you get a new card way better quality for free. Anytime I cash a check there is a hold. The people are rude here. Not to mention the 2 week hold they put when use your card to pay a bill. This bank does not even deserve a one star

    Charging $15 to pay on a loan if you do it in person with a card . I got away from a standard bank for reasons like this . I will be trying my best to get my loan transferred to another institution. You got my business at first and I was happy to keep it with you until you got greedy .

    Having a hard time giving ORNL a positive review at this point. There just seems to be a lack of convenience on just about every level. When you call in, the line is constantly disconnected after waiting at least 10 minutes, the mobile app never saves my login information or fingerprint scan and I constantly have to reset it, and they cannot seem to take payments over the phone like any other normal bank. The list goes on, and it seems like their only recommendation is to come in to the branch itself. They need to focus more on their customer experience! Everyone I have come in contact with has been very polite and a pleasure to deal with but that doesn’t replace the lack of convenience. I thought I was doing a good thing by spreading out my money with another bank, but I have never had this problem with TVA.. starting to have second thoughts on continuing business with them until something proactive is done.

    Since this location is under construction, I had to get out of my car to use the ATM. It was about 10 minutes after close, but there was a woman standing in front of the door, so I asked her if I could come in and cash my check, she said no, so I continued on my way to the ATM. So as I am standing in line, I see her let another customer in, and I asked her why he was able to go in but not me. A simple, “Sorry, he’s been here since before we closed” would have sufficed, but this incredibly rude woman instead decided to scream at me and say “Mam! he’s been here for over an hour!”, and then closed the door. With horrible customer service like that, I don’t think this location even deserves a one star rating.

    They're the most unhelpful people I've ever dealt with just because I have a paper check and work for a living and where people overalls she decides how much money she'll give me out of my check per day
