Old National Bank W Main St, Waconia

What an absolute garbage banking institution. I was once a very loyal customer with Klein Bank but things have gone downhill and Old National is a joke. I had moved almost all my banking elsewhere but kept an old checking and savings account open for convenience and incidentals. Recently my wallet was stolen and I had to close a number of accounts and replace several cards. Old National was the ONLY company that sent me a letter threatening that if I did not supply them with a police report number I would be on the hook for the over $800 used illegally by the thief that took my card. I called Old National and reminded them that I was the victim of a theft and that they are responsible for the loss which had been reported almost immediately after the incident. I was not allowed to speak with the dispute team as "they don't speak with the public." When I demanded to speak with someone else I was informed that nothing will happen if I don't answer the letter and refuse to file a police report. What?! Why send it in the first place? I'm 100% done with Old National and will never do business with them again. What a complete joke.

Ever since it switched to old national, I've been so annoyed. Klein bank was so much better. The app is almost always down. And why do they have a drive up service in the ATM lane? The last three times i went to pull $ out of ATM someone is there and takes 10-15 minutes. There are other drive up service lanes. The ATM is supposed to be for quick service. But can't get in when someone is using the drive up. So annoying.

Since the bank change from Klein Bank to old national they have messed with all of their customers lives. By changing their hours to less desirable times for no one's benefit but their own. I simply want to deposit my $500 in change and I can't because I work before 9am. I have spoke to hundreds of other old national customers that firmly agree that old national is only in business for themselves and not the community. I will be looking for another bank this afternoon and that I will take work off for.

I was with KleinBank for over a decade and I'd done many loans through them and they also had an amazing customer service line. Since Old National Bank purchased KleinBank it's been pretty bad. The local bank itself has great staff and they are super friendly but try calling customer service and you'll be on hold for 10-20 min at a time. Their online banking leaves much to be desired as well. Unfortunately we may be forced to change banks.

This bank in particular has some amazing staff as it has from when it was still Klein bank, with that being said I’d rate 5 stars for Klein bank. But old national bank, is absolute garbage. Terrible hours, terrible customer service, online banking app is down all the time and you will also get a $4-$5 charge every month to your checking account If you have >$500 in your account.

This bank is terrible now. Literally not one thing has gotten better since the change. But a whole lot of stuff has gotten worse. Now the one in Waconia doesn’t even have a drive up window. It’s insane. If you need to do a simple bank transaction like getting change you have to actually go into the bank like it’s 1970 again. Nothing they’ve changed has benefited the customer. Nothing. Hours are shorter. Have to fill out a deposit slip again instead of just giving them your debit card. They have a 3.95 minimum balance fee if you don’t keep $500 min. Seriously the bank is a joke. I’m switching to one of the other like 4 banks in town that don’t charge monthly and actually have a drive up window. Stay away from this bank.

I activated my Old National Bank debit card and not even a week later I lose a ton of money in fraud charges. Also my work direct deposits don't go through the day I get paid. It goes through a day after. Also if I want to move money from checking to savings the bank has to approve that?

Now that Old National bought them out, I can no longer use my debit card and haven't gotten my replacement. I also have no idea what's going on with my accounts as I cant view them on Kleinbank and Old National wont let me enroll in online banking. There is also no 24 hour customer service so I'm left over the weekend with no access to my account. First chance I get I am closing my accounts and moving to a bank that actually cares about their customers.

I used to love, love this bank when it was Klein, I've been working with their customer service, tier 1, tier 2 and IT folks now for almost a week and still can't access my accounts. Rarely write reviews, but this has been my most frustrating banking experience to date. Taking my business elsewhere.

While they’re still open, they shutdown the coin machine early. Can’t make it up.
