As I am not from Washington (I live in AZ) I have never been to this branch before this weekend. My fiancé, who banks with them kept telling me how great they were here. I didn't pay too much attention, because it's just a bank, how good could they be? The second we got there it felt like a second home. Everyone was so welcoming and kind and made the transaction easy. Honestly, if customer service was like this everywhere is WA, I'd trade in my sunscreen for an umbrella and move here in a heartbeat. Great work, guys!

I never have access to my money. This is by far the worst bank I have ever banked with. I opened an account based on the positive reviews, but have had nothing but issues since I opened the account a few months ago. Any check that has been deposited has had a hold placed on it. I asked specifically when I opened the account if they work with Cash App and the bank teller told me yes. Well they do work with the app but will charge you extra fees and place holds for 3-5 business days for the transfers. I was late paying my rent ($100 fee), was charged transfer fees from the bank for using the Cash App ($45) and the checks that I have deposited have also been held for 3-5 business days. I just tried to pull the all of money out of my account, It says I can only pull up to $500 out of the ATM, so I attempted to pull at least $500 out and it says that for my protection it cannot be retrieved and will be refunded to my account by this thursday. WTF. IT IS TUESDAY. So now they are going to hold $500 more of MY MONEY until THURSDAY?! I am going to have to call out of work to be able to make it in person to close my account before they close tomorrow. And I better be able to retrieve the FULL AMOUNT that has been in my account since day one. I am not waiting another day due to bank holds. STEER CLEAR if you need access to your money on a daily or weekly basis. Not even sure why the holds are taking place and I am sick of paying fees.

These delays will trigger a Non-Sufficient Funds fee when transactions attempt to clear your account and the funds are not yet available. When you visit the branch, we’d love to show you how easy it is to use our mobile app which allows you to deposit checks right from your phone and not experience the holds (or delays) you’re running into using the Cash App. Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.

O Bee Credit Union in Yelm is full of very rude employees. I have a medical condition and am unable to wear a mask, good thing on the door to O Bee Credit Union there is a sign,, and inside the building there is a sign that says “If you don’t have a mask, we are happy to give you one. If you medically cannot wear a mask, we understand.” Once again, “If you medically cannot wear a mask, we understand.” I go in to make a deposit and the tellers freak out, I tell them I have a medical condition and on their OWN SIGN it says that’s ok Apparently the tolerance and understanding is only extended to members (I am a shared branch member). No where on the sign does it say that the courtesy is only extended to MEMBERS (according to them). Not only did they flip out when this occurred and made me stay outside, after, they contacted MY credit union and told them that I am not allowed at any of their branches anymore! Are they out of their mind? If the tolerance and “understanding” is only extended to members it should say so on one of the TWO signs that says it's ok. Outrageous.

I go to Obee because they do shared branching with the bank I have an auto loan through (BECU) and never have a bad time with any of the tellers or managers. Everyone is always on top of their game whether I’m the only one in the building or there’s a line of people waiting! (I should also mention that I’ve never experienced more than a 20 minute wait - and let me say that on a payday I expect the waits to be longer like they are where I do my normal banking) I always get greeted with a smile, which is great after a long day at work! I would recommend Yelm Obee to anyone and am considering moving my normal banking here! Keep up the great work!!!

I opened this account due to no local USAA ATM , all the girls in this bank are so friendly, they are great with kids , and there is never a long wait at the yelm branch .Vincent was in there the day I was opening my account what a hard worker he is. I will continue to us them for all my local banking needs thanks Obee
