    I have had a great experience with them! I didn’t have any problems with the tellers or any member of the bank! I feel you guys work from a different bank and trying for dénali to look bad! As a member.. I highly recommend to everyone! The rates have change and is low compare from before! I’m very grateful with Denali Nuvision I have been a new member since April 2021

    I’ve a member of Denali Alaskan FCU since 2009. Everything from customer service to online banking was excellent. Unfortunately, when Nuvision bought out them out, that’s when my experience changed for the worst. Shortly after the buyout, I was unable to get anyone on the telephone to discuss an online banking issue I was experiencing. I let it go, tried again the following day, placed on hold for over an hour. Unable to wait, I proceeded to go to the branch in Anchorage on 36th. The wait was well over an hour and the staff in the lobby said, I cannot speak to a manager, and that things like that must be scheduled. Long story short, I was unable to access my account online, over the phone, and in person for over a week. This is unacceptable and should be criminal for a financial institution. It is Friday June 3, 2022 @ 1:00PM and took about 30 minutes to get a representative of the phone, only for them to tell me that, “it doesn’t appear you have an account with us.” Please note, this is not a review based on one incident that happened years ago or even the issues I am experiencing today. I want to provide some insight of the things you will experience over the course of your membership if you bank with Nuvision. I have personal and business accounts with AlaskaUSA, CU1, and Northern Skies, never have I experienced so many issues with any one the other Federal Credit Unions in my area. If you care about your money, do your research, and find the best Credit Union for you.

    I’ve been with Denali for almost 20 years. Ever since you sold out to Nuvision, the customer service has gone downhill, long wait times, on the phone and in person. Hire more tellers so you can be better to your customers. And when I ordered a new debit card, paid the fee for a rush because I live in rural Alaska now, still took a week, then come to find out you’ve misspelled my name. Seriously, how does a bank misspell a name?! I’ll be switching my banking to elsewhere now.

    Customer service has declined since the merger with Denali. Fewer products available, and consistent issues with existing accounts. The local bank feel is gone!

Indeed, the Credit Union has taken steps to increase our product offerings over the past few years, with new products and services intended to improve secure, 24/7 access to your account. We have reduced the number of branches in Alaska; that’s the result of intensive research into branch use and the increasing use of the remote channels by members. We are introducing new, stand-alone branches in both Wasilla (later this month) and Fairbanks (next year) which will offer new services for members, including drive through service and Live Teller Connect (LTC) machines, which are like “super” ATMs that can connect with a representative to assist you while using the machine. When the representatives aren’t available (outside of normal operating hours), the LTC machines act like a regular ATM, with 24/7 access to your account. If you have specific concerns about our service delivery, please call our Member Contact Center (800-444-6327) to let us know what we can do to improve our service.

    Having to jump through multiple hoops and directories plus reroutes leaves the phone call going in circles without speaking to a representative. What a waste of time. Big banks with multiple locations in various states don’t seem to care about the community and those placing money in your care. Keep it local.

    When denali sold out to nuvision, they sold there ability to serve their customer's in a timely manner. Good for denali, bad for every single one of their customers. If i could switch my loans and completely stop banking with them i would. Just called to have something fixed that was a mess up on there end waited 50 minutes when the system estimated 30 got a call back that immediately put me on hold then hung up went through the same process again finally got ahold of a real person, was told i needed to be transferred to the member's solution department and was immediately put back on hold for another estimated 55 minutes. Does anyone see a problem/patern here. You guys where good before you sold out but money is more important then customer service and anything denali was before is dead and gone.

    Incredibly disappointed with the complete lack of customer service skills related to the NuVision team. Everything that made Denali great no longer exists. I just waited over thirty minutes to deposit one CASHIER'S CHECK from a local credit union. The teller had to get approval to keep the CASHIER'S CHECK from being put on hold for seven days. Ridiculous.

    This organization is the worst credit union I have ever encountered. They were so much better before the merger with Nuvision. Now they are just as bad and just as expensive to do business with as Wells Fargo or any other giant bank.

    Would not recommend, those people charge money to cash their own checks. Paid $39 to cash $2600 paycheck. I did not have time to stop at my bank ( MVFCU) but in future I would never use this ''credit union''. Total rip off
