    It's Christmas time!!! I started an account with these people. Told them from the beginning I don't want overdraft transactions. They said no problem. I lost my debit card and automatic transactions were coming out. That plus there overdraft fees amount $130. I called to have my account frozen. They said no problem. More auto transactions came out one being .66 cents. They charged 28 dollar overdraft fee!! I called them to ask why when I said no overdraft transactions from the beginning. They agreed she put me on hold got back on and said in fine print the bank can choose to allow overdraft transactions or not. Another very rude lady called and asked me to pay for my overdraft fees and I said I thought yall froze my account she said we can't do that. I said all other banks can. And she still stuck with we cant. My girlfriend tried to pull her money out for a new apartment she is moving into and wouldn't let her til she paid my overdraft fees along with her daughter's who was in the same position as me. These people will rob you!!! If your low on money

    I have been a member for 44 years. I believe in loyalty to a point. I am very dissatisfied with the NWCU to manage my account online. As in today I payed off my NWCU credit card but my online bank account failed to update my transaction therefore I am seriously considering becoming a member of the Rouge Credit union. I would not recommend NWCU anyone!

    The recent server failed is so unacceptable that I will be closing my account as soon as I can see how much money I actually have. Absolutely no excuse and NWCU owes its customers something. I'm an Army Signal Corp Veteran who knows about redundant operations. NWCU completely failed to maintain a redundant system. It wasn't by accident- they did this because whoever the IT or CTO is needs to be fired ASAP. Totally unacceptable especially during tax season! So sad because I like and want to trust local credit unions instead of big banks. Seriously NWCU- you dropped the ball- on all of your customers feet! It hurts and I'm angry.

    This is a very poor institution. They are always down and unavailable for ATM use. They put a hold on my account because of fraud and the fraud department just hangs up on you 15 times! Then they have a recording to call back at another time. I am trying to get to an Oncology appointment 300 miles away and they have a hold on my account.

    They will miss your automatic payment then charge you a late fee. You can't get ahold of anyone and when you do they pretty much just say deal with it, or refinance somewhere else. I went with them because of a low interest rate but has not been worth it to me

    Been with northwest for over a decade been having issues with unwanted charges and was pretty much told nothing we can do for you. Just unbelievably rude on the phone and not supportive. Walked in to pull my money out of all my accounts and not even a "oh no why? Is there anything we can do? I'm sorry you're wanting to leave?" Only response was "would you like cash or a check?" I guess loyalty means absolutely nothing to your business and your customers. I guess everyone was right that Rogue Credit Union is the way to go.

    My experience was terrible with this bank. Any time I needed help or had a question regarding my account or loan I would try calling the number online and the number printed on their business card but could never get in touch with somebody. I called a total of 5 times one day, holding for about a 30-45 minutes each time before becoming busy and being forced to hang up. I hate to take my business away from our local community

    If i could give this 0 stars i would. My husband has been banking with this bank for over 10 years and the rudeness he has encountered is beyond belief. Yesterday he went in to cancel his account and withdraw all of his money, they did not ask him why or anything.. Loyalty means nothing to these people and the tellers are extremely rude.

    Probably the most incompetent people I’ve ever had to deal with. Definitely need A LOT more training for everyone. It’s bad when you have THREE different people who all give you the same exact answer over the phone, get excited, and make an appointment with them, (literally had everyone with me they said I needed) to be told they don’t even do that. Then train your three people on telling bankers no on the phone first so they don’t waste gas and other people’s time going down there. Gail was seriously the most disrespectful person I’ve ever met there. Very rude. Will definitely be avoiding her when I go in to close my account.

    I needed to have a check cashed. I recently moved here so I had not established a banking institution who may have taken care of it. I have only used ATM’s for cash access and never deposits. Wells Fargo would only cash the check I had against their bank but not the other I had. I visited NWCU and asked if cashing it was possible. They could have simply said no but instead, the employee took me to the mgr and between them they explained the check deposit process I could do on their ATM. I appreciate them going the extra mile and helping a non customer with a banking issue. Extremely courteous and conscientious. Thank you.
