This company ruined my first home buying experience. I was referred to North East by my realtor when buying my first home. The whole reason I hired a broker was so that everything could go smoothly and stress free with my first home buying experience. Although their “customer service” is friendly, it is clear that there is no clear communication between them and the customer (yourself). Every time i called to check on the status of my loan, i would be met with “oh well we reached out to them” forcing me to go and track down the needed documents. I personally oversaw the completion of multiple documents for my loan, which is what my broker should have been doing (and was hired to do). I believe that if I did not track down those documents, I would not currently be living in my new home. My closing date got moved back (3) times from the original date, finally closing almost a full month AFTER my initial closing date. There was never any time to prepare, i knew HOURS beforehand when my closing would be. I was told multiple times that it was going to happen 100% on a specific day only to be told the day before that it was getting pushed back due to the wrong documents being requested for the loan causing me to have to move around multiple appointments so that i could move in. The broker who initially handled my loan requested the wrong types of documents multiple times (confirmed by the insurance agency when I had to call to try and get the correct documents). After the third time of moving the closing back, I decided to speak with higher management to get my loan processed. That person happened to be Chris, who is the President of the company. Chris was very pleasant to deal with and made sure I was always in the know with multiple phone calls a day and no false promises. But here is my gripe with this, I requested a credit towards my closing costs due to the fact that 1) QuickenLoans gave my sister a $300 credit towards her closing just for moving her closing back one week, and 2) i do not believe in the slightest bit that North East deserved the $2,070 that they received from my closing. This entire home buying experience has been nothing but a nightmare and extremely stressful. As a young adult, with many friends buying homes at the moment, I will recommend that they look elsewhere for loan brokering. This company is extremely unprofessional and unreliable. I am very disappointed in how this whole situation turned out. Buyers beware of this company. QuickenLoans is easier and less stressful.

My credit score was originally a little lower than it needed to be. Northeast worked with me to increase my score with a credit repair program in a very short amount of time and then provide me with a great loan for our new purchase. They literally took care of everything and I just had to sign a few things along the way very easy process and very professional.

We had the pleasure of working with the Loan Officer, Michael Lane! He was very attentive and responsive to all of our needs. He very clearly guided and supported us through process and any questions we had. We highly recommend him!

I went with a refinance through North East. I was contacted by Alan who helped me every step of the way. The process was very easy, I didn't have to come out of pocket for anything. I was able to cut my rate in half, and went from a 30 to a 15 year mortgage, all while shaving my monthly payment down. Win win win! Alan if you are out there, thanks again, you saved me thousands!

As a Realtor, Radmila and I have worked on several deals together. She is deeply knowledgeable about her industry, forward thinking with solutions when issues arise, and stays in constant communication throughout the process. When a family member asked who they should contact about a mortgage I didn’t hesitate to give Radmila’s name.

I got my mortgage through Patrick Walsh and the home we bought was at the very high end of our budget. Pat was not only incredibly knowledgeable, he spoke to me and my wife in plain language as opposed to throwing a bunch of numbers at us, and he was able to get us the money we needed. Pat was patient and answered all of our questions and most important he was available to us when we needed him. Almost every time I called him he answered the phone, and when he was not available at the time he called me back as soon as possible. This is the second home I bought and Pat made the mortgage process relatively stress free which was amazing. If I ever need to refinance or in the off chance I buy another home, you can bet my first phone call will be to Pat.

All mortgages are a pain to do, especially when you see the enormous amount of paperwork. My broker, Michael Lane, was extremely helpful and managed to remove much of the burden. Start to finish was just a few weeks.

My family and I had the pleasure to work with Beth Goulet and I can't say enough about her! Beth was always there no matter the time and no matter the question. She went above and beyond to educate and walk us through the process. Beth you rock!!!!
