Wife brought a used key in for programming. They said it couldn’t be done… didn’t check the key battery. I put a volt meter on the battery later that day, 0.2V, totally dead. New battery is 3V or better. Obviously didn’t check the most obvious problem. Wasted 90 minutes of her day

Paul was very knowledgeable about the car. Also very professional. I came in looking for a new car and Paul made it happen.
We truly appreciate your positive feedback and please let us know if there is anything we can do for you in the future. Thanks.

It is no longer O'Brien Chevrolet. Someone bought them out and told service department they could no longer wash customer's cars that were bringing them in for a wash. I have been a good customer for almost 5 years and they are the only ones I have clean my truck, and yes, I do pay for it. They also do my service work, oil changes that I pay for and any thing else I have done. But since they cannot do this anymore for a good customer, they have completely lost my business. If I have to have anything done on my truck, I will go to someone else, even if it is Tri-Cities. New owner is not starting out on a good foot!.
I'm sorry to read your review. Yes, the business was sold on July 1, 2019. Most of the staff is staying on so please, contact Ms. Sarah Ricks, Service Manager and discuss your concerns. Thanks for your business over the last 5 years......... Bill O'Brien

It was okay. Was told I would get a call back , return call well never got one, the one I was told that I would get. Anyway just the way sales people work get you on there turf will do what they can to make something work. Once you are gone off there turf just history nothing of impprtance. All I wanted to do is ask a quote on a tune up. Should have just left wrong department. Saved me the time of a none return call. Other than that is my story. I am sure it will be diffetent for others. Good luck
Please contact Service Manager, Ms. Sarah Ricks, who will be able to respond to your quote on a tune up.

Bought a used vehicle from these guys and had a few issues the owner found out and despite him selling the business shortly after I bought the car he payed for all the repairs and put two new tires on. I can tell he cares about his business and wants his reputation to remain. All I can hope is that the new owner will care as much as Bill does.
I have spoken to Mr. J and resolved his concerns.

I dont know if it's the fact that they have new ownership, bad management or unskilled unvested techs, but I have been here 3 times now and the "problem" is still not resolved. My AC leaks the freon in 48hours, this can not be a small leak and they won't tell me what they charged my warantee company but yo have the same problem I had over a month ago, even the $145 I was charged directly is a complete waste. Find the problem. ...the real problem, then we'll talk price. Manager seriously told me "she's not putting any more money into my vehicle". ...oh yeah. How much are you getting paid cause all the hours I've spent dealing with this problem have been for free. SMDH.
Ms. B brought her 2011 Buick Enclave with 142,000+ miles to our service department on June 10, 2019 reporting A/C not blowing cold. Note, we are an authorized Chevrolet Nissan dealership. The customer advised she had a service contract through United Car Care. Following usual procedure, the customer approved a standard inspection charge. Diagnosis disclosed a compressor failure and her service contract approved replacement. Total cost, $1,133.91 of which the customer paid $145.74. The vehicle left with the A/C working. June 27th, 19 days and approximately 2,000 miles later, Ms. B advised the A/C had failed again. Diagnosis discovered a defective Freon Hose. Cost to repair was $298.27 and we fixed the issue at no cost to the customer. July 30th, some 30+ days later, Ms. B returned saying the system had failed again. We asked that she approve a standard inspection charge and she refused. Given the age and complexity of this type A/C (it has both front and rear systems), it is not uncommon that there can be multiple issues causing failure(s). We follow a policy of repairing vehicles at the lowest possible cost consistent with addressing an issue. Sometimes this can lead to repeated visits but usually results in lower repair bills for the customer as opposed to a “replacing everything” strategy. In this case, further diagnosis is required to find the current problem. Bill O’Brien General Manager O’Brien Chevrolet Nissan

Took my 2018 Duramax in for a transmission service and tire rotation. Did a good job on the transmission service but no one had a clue how to rotate the tires properly on a dually Despite the information being clearly available in the owners manual or even a basic service manual. I have 4 aluminum outer and 2 steel inner wheels and with this setup all you have to do is swap tires/wheels from the side to side keeping them in the same position just opposite. What they did was move my front wheels to the rear outer and rear outer to the front and did nothing with the inners. I asked why and they said because both tires on the rear had the same amount of tread. I wasnt happy with this as this is not the recommended rotation. So they took it back again this time I waited 2 hours and when I walked out I saw that they were not rotating them incorrectly again. They decided to rotate the tires to different Rims. But they did not put them back in the original location before starting. Traditionally dually tire rotation on each side is rotated circular if all the wheels are the same so the rear inner goes on the front the rear outer is moved to the inner position and the old front to the rear outer. So how it all ended up was since they never put the wheels back to the original spot before they started moving them to different rims. my old front tires are now rear inners. The rear outside is now on the front and the rear inner is on the rear outside. I immediately spoke to the technician and he assured me I was wrong and stated he is flat rate and losing wages on this I told them I'll gladly pay for a job done right but this is not my fault. I'm sure he recognized his error in arguing with me because he quickly changed his tune and became overly accommodating which felt disingenuous. I was correct in how the tires are supposed to be rotated, this was not my first rodeo also see picture below straight from page 401 of the chevrolet owners manual. To add to this they did not clock the wheels correctly meaning valve stems on the rear should be opposite or 180 degrees from each other and lined up so you can get to the inners through the spoke in the wheels to check pressure. I could not even see the valve stems on the rear inners and they didnt put the valve stem caps back on. I had them finish what they were doing and took it straight to Les Schwab in Milton to have them fix it. Thankfully Les Schwab fixed it for free. This started at 9am and by the time it was all said and done I was the last customer to leave Les Schwab and 6pm.... I bought this truck from O'Brian and not sure if the change was from the recent sale of the business but they can rest assured they will never see another dime from me or anyone I know. And this is a $70,000 truck. To add to all of this my mom took her 2018 colorado in for harmonics in the front end. They told her it was misaligned and she would need new tires. She called me as I have extensive experience as a mechanic I told her to leave and have Les Schwab check the alignment. They checked it and it is within Chevrolet specs but she had already purchased tires before they checked it. They also told her at Schwabs the tires are wearing normally and didnt need to be changed yet but because they were honest with her and she had already made the purchase she went ahead and replaced them. Schwabs did tighten up the alignment even closer into specs. So Chevrolet/Nissan of Walla Walla has lost 2 customers. I hope this serves as a warning to others who go there. The service department is clueless. Buyer be warned....

I bought my car two months ago, it now has a clicking sound and Nissan service told me it was at least $50 just to diagnose the problem. UPDATE- Yes Bill, I bought a Nissan Sentra and the car is under my wife's name, Tania Seib. It was purchased in March of this year. I went in to the service department to schedule an oil change and I asked the service guy about the clicking sound. He gave me a print out, said it wasn't a recall but that year of Nissan had a common problem with the clicking sound. He then told me it would be around $50 just to diagnose the problem, I told him no thanks.
Please advise what vehicle you purchased and on what date. O'Brien Chevrolet Nissan was sold as of Sunday June 30th, 2019. I reviewed sales leading up to 6/30 and find no vehicle sold to "Bryan Nelson". If your purchase happened after 6/30, please contact new management. Bill O'Brien

My daughter took her car in to get a transmission flush and front blinker. The service was great and it cost a little less than what was quoted.
Thanks. Sarah and her team appreciate you review.......
