From the beginning, they answered every question we had and were upfront about all fees/details/etc. Plus, they made sure the process was seamless for us, which is important because we are first time homebuyers. Kris and Lonnie worked with us like no other lender. What we found was that other lenders have you fill in all the paperwork, pick a loan type, then say "Yes" or "No" - and you're done. What makes Cornerstone/Nest better is when we got the "No", they worked with us to figure out how to get to a "Yes" - like what specific accounts to reduce balances on, and how much - and what types of loans might be better/more amenable to our situation. They really tried many scenarios, and never got bitter about it : ) Friendly, hard working and competent. Plus, for us, they were local.
