I was a credit card customer and called Neighbors 5 days in advance to advise I was traveling and didn’t want any issues with using my card, like before. I was assured I wouldn’t have any issues, and they wished me safe travels. When I arrived to my destination and tried to rent a car, my card declined. What!?? I called the bank and talked to several people and they assured my deposit would show up the next day, it didn’t show up until a week later. They wasn’t apologetic and didn’t really care about the inconvenience they caused me and my daughter while on vacation. This place is ghetto, Slow as molasses, and behind the times in technology. Do not bank here, there are much better options in the Ferguson area. I wish I could give them zero out of 5 popcorn bags.

If you want to waste your time & have customer service tell you one thing & the MSR tell you another thing, then wait to come back & sign documents (meaning make 2 trips to accomplish 1 goal - opening business accounts) and wait for a call that will never come from the Jennings branch to set up an appointment... This is the place for you...

I would provide a zero if possible. I purchased and paid off a vehicle with this company as well as made timely credit card payments but was cutoff do to Student loans hitting my credit. I was told that my card would not be re-instated even after getting my score back up.. Run away from them as fast as you can.. they are not in the business of working with you .

I had the unfortunate opportunity to refinance my car loan with Neighbors Credit Union. They called me. I DID NOT seek them out. Everyone was wonderful at the member closing center in Manchester. It's all great until you try and pay your car note. Don't have paper checks? Me either. Only use your debit card? Yep! They will charge you an additional $7.00 processing fee to use your debit card. I'm so glad I'm not a member at this credit union. I attempted to link my First Community Credit Union account, but Neighbors denied the link . The only way I can pay my car note is to go to the branch. Every branch opens too late and closes too early. I work 8:30-5:00 and have to get my kid from daycare. No way would I have time to get here unless I leave work early. They also charged us $5,000.00 for car insurance that only they benefit from because "they couldn't verify we had insurance." We gave the gentleman our AAA policy number. We got a certified letter in the mail on a Saturday of all days and couldn't get anyone until Monday morning. Finally got through to someone in the "insurance department" just to be told our insurance was verified 2 days after the letter was sent.... sounds fishy to me. Pretty sure this was a scam just to get customers to charge them $$$!! Horrible customer service you'd do better to talk to a wall. I'm going to call FCCU to see if I can refinance with them. Certainly wouldn't be as painful as Neighbors! Stay away!

This is the worst bank EVER! Being a credit union member used to mean that you have someone locally to talk to that provides exceptional customer service. That is the furtherest from the truth now. They do not care about their members they are not helpful and loyalty to them means nothing. I've been a member for over 30 years- and can NEVER receive and support when there is an issue.

I was a customer of neighbors. Some years ago but i had left them for boa .I was with boa for about 4 years but it came up that I would be getting charged a monthly fee because I didnt have a certain amount in direct deposit a month . I was then like ill go back to neighbors, when i originally left it wasnt because of the service just wanted something new. After coming back my experience has been the absolute worse...my checks were lost in the mail.My mobile deposits arent received until after 10 days.They have way more restrictions now. That its damn near impossible to do anything . I will be leaving them again. Credit Unions are good to an extent but Neighbors as i say ever since coming back to them my experience is the worst.

I totally agree this bramch on Market is horrible with dealing with customers. The teller literally stole half of my withdrawall and they wasnt a manager on duty that Saturday morning. I withdrew $160 and thought it odd the teller stacked the bills on top of each other instead of fanned out before sliding it across the counter . I was in a rush and stuffed the cash into my wallet. But when I reached the ticket venue to pay I was short $80. Immediately I returned to the bank and requested a manager. There wasnt one on duty. So the head teller assisted me. I explained what happened and her reply was that teller just now finished counting her drawer and it balanced. Hearing that made me upset because I hadnt requested anything yet. I was in disbelief and felt robbed. I called the branch on south lindbergh and spoke to their manager. I only went away for less than 15 mins and she had already counted her drawer and the bank wasnt due to close yet. I explained that I went to box office at scottrade which is 5 mins away if u walked there. Needless to say the facts are Iwas shortened $80, odd that bank teller settled her drawer within 10 mins of.my transaction. I couldnt review the camera of my transaction no police was called or report /complaint filed. didnt get my money or any resolution. I tried making a complaint against the teller bank and main office. I felt the police should have been called. And A report should have been made. Now Im not aware of all institutions procedures when theft is concerned. I felt the procedures were treated as an option not as a right. Ive banked with this credit union since I was14 years old a this is the very first time I have been stolen from.and never had favorable results.im now 45 years old.
