    I've been a customer at NCU for a long time. It was the best choice to go there at the time. Now, I've questioned my choice. I like the app and the one line banking. Very convenient. Customer service at the bank is sometimes rude. Phone service is horrible. They don't return emails or phone calls. I called to put a hold on my debit card and be issued another card. After two (2) weeks of waiting for my card to arrive by mail I called, was on hold for about 30 mins. Signed up for a call back to keep my place in line on the phone and was told call back time will be 15 mins. Three hours later no phone call. I call back was on hold for an hour. I inquired about my debit card to find when it was shipped and what would be the ETA. I was told that the card was never shipped out and that there wasn't a hold placed on the card. Needless to say I was upset, I had already destroyed my card and had no way of getting to my funds after banking hours. The women on the phone then told me I could go to a nearby branch to get a card on the spot. Why didn't they tell me this two weeks ago.

    I called in to inquire about a text from NCU concerning suspicious activity on my debit card. I was greeted with such a warm and pleasant greeting from Natalie K., from a St. Louis, MO location! She immediately took a look into my accounts and found that it wasn't my acct but my daughter's, whose away at college. We got her on the call & Natalie took care of all the next steps that would protect all of our accounts from any future compromise and educated us thruout the call! The experience proved to be well worth it, both, in regards to the urgency towards the matter, and, in terms of having the knowledge for ourselves and to pass along to others! Oh, the call I spent on the call was graciously-appreciated -- Natalie served us very effectively & efficiently!!

    Needed a replacement car. Went in person where Megan/Howdershell processed my application quickly and said she would call when she received a response. On my way to the car dealer where I had a car in mind, I was picking up a car that was done being repaired. the dealer experience is a whole different story but when I came back to the Howdershell location to finish up, the news was worse. Brene Q., Megan and the underwriter Katie(?) showed me that they were there for my best interest and gave me a financial education that most people would need to make an informed decision. Needless to say, I didn't buy that car but actually found what I was looking for in the beginning at another dealer that was newer. Closing out and taking that check to the dealer to get the keys was how it should have gone at the first dealer. But things happen for a reason. I have had several loans with Neighbors at different locations and I can't recall ever having a bad experience and learning something new, THIS IS CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!

    My experience with Neighbors Credit Union since I've been back to doing transactions on a regular basis, it's has been wonderful 👏 Friendly, Kind, Timely, Clean, Quite and above all current and acquit on all accounts along with customer service being very professional as well as speedient, I have always enjoyed being a longtime member of Neighbors Credit Union simply because of all the Generosity that they continue to provide excellent service 👏 Advise all employees of their continued service during this very difficult time of Pemdemic and Thanks so much for sending me the evaluation.     2 stars because I get basic banking. Nothing more than that. Oh, and the app is nice. Otherwise Customer service is nonexistent. Rude at times in fact! Not serving the purpose of banking at a Credit Union. Take your funds elsewhere for better service and friendlier customer service.

    I sadly had my debit card compromised. Nearly 900 was taken from my bank. I went to Neighbors, filled out a fraud report, went to the police department and got a complaint number, then took it back to Neighbors. i waited 5 days, then went back to Neighbors as I had a debit card for cash from the same company that took my money. I showed it to the rep and she did not know what it was from. I then asked what about my fraud account, and when will my money be put back. She could not find it put in, so upset I asked for a supervisor. The supervisor said my report had not been sent to fraud department yet. I was so upset, a little loud, and asked what if it was your money what would you do. I got home and they put my money back by calling me and told me. I was still upset as if I had not gone to the bank and inquired, my money still would not have been put back. I was very upset with Neighbors for not putting in my fraud report. I will give them a paper from my job that an online payment at Barnes may have been compromised. I was going to leave Neighbors, but I will stay a while. I hope this never happens to anyone. Especially me.
