Used to be the most honest and helpful bank a few months ago they started playing Wells Fargo games of declining you with out reason making you transfer funds then overdraft charging you for things you were responsible about. Steel from the pore to give to the rich. Thats not a credit union that's a stank bank. Better keep a person register and keep $500 min in every account if you do want to bank here. Personally I feel better protected putting bills under the mattress.

Navy federal is the biggest scam there is. they don’t go off the VA guidelines as far as getting service members approved for mortgage loan they are no military friendly, super rude, unprofessional, and takes forever to get back to you about your application biggest mistake I ever made was opening up account with them 0/10 do not recommend.

Its not the location. Its the company in general. Tried to get an auto loan from them. Took them about a month to send a response since it didnt fit into their standard car loan (which it did not say up front when it asked if the car was 2020 and new or older) so they made me waste multiple credit looks on loans that wouldnt cover the car i was getting regardless. Then the last loan it took them a month to send a declination letter. By that time I already aquired another loan. Thank goodness I did too. Because this saved me tremendously. I went with a third party and got locked at an APR that is saving me more than $200 a month compared to what navy fed couldnt even produce for me. If we go further back, they gave me a preapproval home loan back in 2018 and let me get under contract on a house and spend thousands on non refundable earnest money because it turns out due to some technicalities, I didn't actually qualify for the loan at that time. Which would have been useful information before trying to buy a house. Update: twice now theyve charge me $1 each time for an ATM transaction that was declined. I don't understand how you can charge for a service that wasn't processed....

I was very unhappy with the service I was provided today. I needed to wire money for the purchase of a home and I was refused because I did not have hard copy in hand. When I spoke with the title company they said that the first they have heard, needing hard copy and even asked me what that meant. I was on the phone with Navy Federal and title for 2 hours and Navy Federal said the only way I could wire is to come into the branch which is 1.5 hrs away and I work until 5pm. I was not given much options and will possibly lose the purchase of this home. I also tried to transfer funds to a bank that will do wire transfers over the phone but Navy Federal will not allow the transfer until next Tuesday and today is Thursday. I feel like the service I received was unacceptable and put me in a extremely bad situation. I have to leave for out of state tomorrow for a funeral for family member and having to wait to go into branch to resolve this issue and missing visitation with the family for the funeral. I have never had such a bad experience with a credit union. Knowing this, once I do complete my sells on homes and other income it will not be put in this acct and most likely will be closed once transactions are complete...

If I could give this Bank 0 I would! They are rude and don't give any care for you or the protection of your money AT ALL!!! Definitely wouldn't recommend to anyone!

Don't expect Navy Federal to EVER call you back as they always state they do. I have had the worst experiences here in Colorado since COVID-19 problems started. I was told a personal finance SUPERVISOR would be reaching out to me and my messages would be sent up further for investigation. Over a week later and no call. I message them asking and they don't even see my last conversation on the messages!! They forgot about me, literally, and didn't forward the situation up to the supervisor as stated. Now I have to call them directly because they are just too busy to reach out to their customers, I guess. Great customer service - sarcasm.

5 workers here. 1 of them actually helping people. Currently 2nd in line behind another person. We showed up with paperwork already completed and ready to turn in. Were ready, why arent these people working here ready to help us?

I worked with Kerstin my car loan, my husband was deployed and I had a power of attorney. She was very knowledgeable and everything went smooth and fast. A month later the dealership wouldn't except the check since my husband wasn't present. I went back in, Kerstin took care of me and found different avenues to be in compliance with the dealership. I am very satisfied customer.

The drive through ATM does not let you deposit cash. I told Rebecca at the front desk and she was rude and just brush me off and said it does work. The bank tellers are very nice though. Navy Federal is great but this location needs a couple of improvements with customer service and to fix the drive thru ATM Machine. Im an Army Soldier just trying to make things better for a Military Bank. Thank You

I always have no problems with NAVY Federal they are very polite and kind and I will not go to any other credit unions or banks
