I have been with this credit union since my son joined the Navy over 11 years ago. It is a solid choice though it loses a star for the fact there is only two locations an the lines tend to get very long on Fridays. They do have several ATMs which helps an the rates are competitive. The extra is their on line service. It goes above and beyond in all areas. Worthy of old school stars!

Not only are the employees at this particular branch rude and unhelpful, the credit union itself is horrible. Mobile banking is a nightmare. You cannot search transactions older than two months old through the app like you can at most other financial institutions. You have to manually search for them in your archived statements. Transactions post weeks later and sometimes don’t show up at all In your mobile banking. Money is moved around your accounts with no warning or authorization, and there is no rhyme or reason to any of it. Zelle transfers get stuck in cyber space for weeks… the list goes on. No one responds with adequate solutions when you send messages to customer service and hold times when you try to call are always 30-60 minutes long. My husband and I have been with Navy Fed for less than two years and we are already looking for another place to bank.

I went with my son on Tuesday to open an account for him. The website wasn't working, so we decided to make the drive and do the in-person thing. We walked in and were told that they don't open new accounts at this location, and to try online. I explained that the website wasn't working, so she suggested we call their 800-number. With gas at $4.40 a gallon, I wasn't happy about the wasted trip or time away from work. I did call the 800-number, and we did get the account opened. I don't understand why a bank would have a branch, but not be available to open accounts.

Cash is simple and easy to access, machine is very user-friendly.

I’ve been with NFCU for over 40 years. Through that time policies have changed. However, recently customer service has eroded to the point I’m thinking of changing banking insistutuions. I wouldn’t trust all the five star reviews you see here. If you notice, they come from marketing review platform.

Today 7/29/21, before noon. Only two tellers and 2 booths not open! the line inside was all the way to the door!. 3rd time this has happen. Sometimes the tellers do not listen to what transactions you want completed. Poor customer service. However, Excellent customer service by phone. Looks like its time to transfer banks.

I went to get a new card about 10 minutes before closing and the lady that greeted me at the door seemed to be upset but that. I asked do I wait here (as in outside the door) or can I go in. She rudely said of course you can’t come in. I waited till she finished with another lady. When it was my turn she checked her clock for the second time and said what I needed. I needed a new card and she proceeded to say the systems are down and to call the 1-800 number. It didn’t seem reasonable due to all the customers inside the building but I won’t assume. I visit this navy federal frequently and have never encountered someone as rude as the outside attendant today.

I love this bank. The staff is always kind, professional, caring , and they get you in and out of the bank quickly while providing your needs. They also protect themselves and their customers with hand sanitizer and masks. Love it!!.it makes me feels safer going in there. I pray for their safety as well as others that are providing services to everyone!

I went in to start a business account with Navy Federal and was helped by Hannah. She was absolutely amazing. She was very patient and caring about my situation. She was very knowledgeable and helped me through my application by clearing up some of the things I didn't understand. During the process, her conversation was personable about her family as I shared things about mine. During the process, she also helped me get a new debit card. Even though I didn't come in for this reason, she helped me with my mortgage application. I don't know what happened with the process but it had been over two months since I've heard from my loan processor for my refinance. She instant messaged him and got him to send over the paperwork immediately. I was able to go home with the paperwork and fill it out. I returned the next day and it so happened that she was available to help me again. She forwarded the paperwork over to the loan department and ensured I would get a response within a few days. This is what I call amazing service. Being a military member, I appreciate the patience and understanding of banking professionals like Hannah. She should be the standard for every Navy Federal Branch in this region.
