I’ve been coming to this particular branch for over a year. During this time I have only had great service. The staff are courteous and helpful. Unfortunately, during this time I have noticed a few “entitled” members pout and stomp their feet when they can’t dictate policy. One member became angry when the teller didn’t accept his business card as identification when attempting to make a withdrawal. Another member came in with a huge amount of soiled dollar bills for deposit and became angry when the greasy money jammed the bill counter machine. Want to guess what her profession, never mind, you get the picture. Then there are those who think and act like they can dictate the day to day policies put in place for their safety. Unbelievable!! As a honorably discharged veteran, I am embarrassed for the actions and attitudes of some of these members, whose eligibility to even be members is beyond questionable. I’ve seen less whining and crying at a daycare center. After reading some of these infantile comments, I would suggest to NFCU that they check each and every member’s legitimacy and close those accounts that should have never been opened in the first place.

Fantastic service! I ordered a cashier's check online Friday night; it was ready the same day, so I went Saturday morning for pickup. This location is about two blocks from the metro station. Staff in the lobby were helpful directing me to the sticker to stand socially distant on the floor, and I was seen quickly by a teller. Everyone was friendly and efficient!

I hope Anthony and all my “college buddies” end as tellers and security. Highway robbed without having any IDs or reason for purchase. Lemon car sold with some records hidden by company that have false dates. Way to go! Another black man that also looks latino that he’s not allowed to “make it.” Even the black teller and apparent middle eastern con artists.

On June 1st 2021 this bank location refuses to accept my I.D after accepting it 12 times before simply because it was crack. My I.D has been the same way the past 12 times. After speaking to the manager the stated that she cannot accept crack I.D because it stated in the company Policy that crack I.D is not accepted. I asked her to provide me the company policy that states so she said " I can not provide you with that information because its an internal policy that's not written on paper and I'm telling you so that it not accepted". I told her you do know that I'm an account holder here and you and your staff have accepted my same exact I.D. before and she said yes. Mind you the teller had just accepted my I.D 5 minutes before when i made a deposit into one of my account. 5 minutes later i need to wire money to family abroad and now the same exact I.D is no longer accepted. Let's just say after many years with this bank I will NO longer come to this location and looking to go to Chase Bank. Her behavior and the way she represented herself and Navy Federal Credit Union was a disgrace and very disrespectful as well as Humiliating to me and Navy Federal Credit Union and what they represent especially when it comes to family.

Navy federal is one the worst credit unions in the USA. I applied debt consolidation loan and they did not approve. The reason? Well, because I do not keep my savings in navy federal. As a military spouse I am frustrated with their service.

Put money in the ATM for the ATM to take my money, then shut down and reboot. It was after branch hours, called NavyFed customer service and was told my deposit cleared...hours later I check my account and the money isn’t there, call again and I’m told that my account shows an ATM reversal, now I have to wait for the branch to open to go in and beg them to investigate so I can get my money back!!! I’ll never use another Navy Federal ATM ever again.

2 stars because of its great location and hours. Member service reps? Disappointing. For some reason everyone was greeted upon entering the branch except for myself (the youngest person in the branch). The member service rep I encountered looked as if she were just ready for me to leave the branch. I gave specific instructions on my check deposit only to have them ignored. The teller completely disregarded it causing me to deal with a longer check hold than necessary as well as 0 availability of funds. Next time I will save myself the trouble and go to a ATM. I will never go out of my way to visit this branch again. Minimal “customer service”

This was an over the phone call. Andrea was patient, knowledgeable, and succinct with the questions I had. Like every experience with navy federal credit union, they have been professional and timely. They treat their customers like human beings and will work with you on any problem you have. 5/5

Rates went down A LOT during this economic crisis after I asked them why they were not and had to refer them to what FED was doing. Even though it is "federal", they didn't know how to handle moving my TSP funds into a non-taxable (delayed-tax) account. I had to educate them - even the female manager didn't know and gave me the wrong form. But they do not charge extra fees like banks.

Do not go to NFCU for mortgage loans!!! They advertise rate match but no one goes out of their way to get the rate matched! They use all sorts of excuses to explain why they failed as if they don't want your business. Go to Prosperity Mortgage instead, you will be glad you did!!!
