It is NFCU policy to not cash payroll checks over $250. I’ve been a member for many years, have paid off loan/credit cards, etc. I recently retired and took my last payroll check, which was sent to me directly, to the NFCU on Dale Mabry Hwy. “It is policy that only $250 is given until the check clears”. I have more than 10x that amount in my checking account to cover the payroll check. Doesn’t matter, it MUST be deposited. A bank that doesn’t cash checks?!

It’s impossible to schedule an appointment with a notary. What the number you dial tells you is not accurate. I was told it would be a 15 min wait. I have been here over 1/2 hour…no end in site. Best to go elsewhere for notary services.

Good morning, Navy Federal continues to hinder Veteran Owned Businesses from growing and supporting their community's. NFCU choices to manipulate the consumers accounts in order to charge penalties, these business practices should be illegal and NFCU should be held responsible if not liable for the theft and hardship imposed onto its small business owners. In the current social climate in which we find ourselves along with the financial impacts from Covid-19. How can a financial institution (who stands on the shoulders of Veterans to call themselves tall) whose business " Principles " are that of, "For the Veteran" be so false. Update: 02/13/22 please pardon the grammar and typos due the extreme amounts of stress this week . The dispute was finally resolved By Sydney at the Lutz location. I had reached out to the FB messenger to get anyone I can to look into my case. When this first happened, what I thought was, I was at a complete loss. But Sydney, at the Lutz location, reviewed my claim after getting my massage on Facebook messenger. I was as help by Tracey at this but, nothing was resolved, due to level in management. The other manager sounded like she could care less. She sounded very robotic but, stated she could realtor to my situation. That was a straight lie. I didn't need any more lies at this point I need money in my account. But, Sydney's timing was very much needed. My uncle passed away, and going to be stranded in Delray Beach. He would usually give me money for the drive back but, he is now resting in peace. Sydney was highly apologetic and she mentioned that she would work on getting member relations team some training. I told her that would be great. I don't want the next member to experience the termol that I was put through. The credit was applied and Sydney completed the case. Thanks again for helping me to regain my trust in Navy Federal credit union. 🙂 02/04/2022 STAY AWAY FROM THIS BANK. THEY WILL STEAL FROM YOU. This company is stealing from people. You're remote ATMs are always malfunctioning and there's not enough banks or ATM machines around. The damn machine took my money and the now the dispute department is saying they can't find it. It doesn't matter the amount that's stolen from me. The morals of this bank is straight Garbage.

This is the most convenient NFCU in Tampa. The entire staff is nothing short of spectacular, they are always ready to serve. The wntire branch is always clean, inviting and very safe. Long lines are no match for the fast, thorough and accurate top notch customer service oriented tellers so wait times are kept to a minimum. Always a delight knowing I'll spend the minimum amount of time and receive the maximum service. @501BAM🇧🇿

I don't have an account with this bank personally. However my friend does and he is extremely happy with them. Now they don't have a drive thru there, I believe that's because of the location they are in. They do have two ATM windows though. And everytime I've gone with my friend there he is always in and out very quickly. They take the social distancing and making their customers wear a mask very seriously. Which always makes me feel good with any place even if I'm not involved with that company specifically. With all that being said I give them 5 stars because I haven't seen any reason not to, even though I don't bank with them.

I have had nothing but good experiences at the Dale Mabry branch in Tampa. I was in Germany for three years and when I returned I found there were many of the same familiar faces. Adam in the mortgage dept. Has been my go to for two home purchases. Brittany who has since moved always gave me great customer service and Willie always calls me by name, has a smile on his face and willing to answer any questions I have.

Nothing but issues with Navy Fed as of late. I have been a member for over twenty years. As soon as my loans are paid off with them, I will leave. The call center people are rude and unhelpful. If you start asking them questions they immediately say this conversation is going no where, I am ending the call. And hang up on you. Some questions are answered well if you would have read your contract you'd know. This one bank that I wish would fold and go under.

To be as efficient as they are, and with aapproximately 7 or 8 thousand members, they deserve a 10 rating. I am proud to be a member for almistx4 years.
