    Worst possible service of my life. The actually navy fed on base so much nicer and was able to handle my issues.. I’m on my husbands account can have my paychecks deposited into our account write checks. Have my own debit card withdrawal money from our account. But needing a paper notarized sorry that can’t be done and since our two year lost my military I’d card I can’t get on base. But the lady I spoke to on base said yes I can have things notarized. But again the lady at this location said no since I’m not a member but again I have my own debit card my name on my husbands account. But im not a member. Well if u want to become a member. Why so I can’t get treated like this!! No!! If I had any interest in being a member of your bank the lady lost all of my attention and with my husband being a member since he joined the marine corps which is 8 years we have lost interest and opening up and account else where the spouses on the account get the same abilities as who the account belongs to

    I've been with NFCU for more than thirty five years. I've never had a problem or any issues with them. I've tried using commercial banks but always return. Bank bureaucracies and poor employee instruction always cause me to move more of my money to NFCU. My only complaint is their foreign transaction fee on their credit card. (Barclays and HSBC don't charge this on their cards.) RIP John who began as a teller and moved into management. He was the best! I'm knocking two stars off my previous review. My wife needed a simple notarization. The one notary on duty was half the tellers on duty that weekday morning. It was not a military payday and was before lunch. After waiting more than half an hour my wife raised a stink. We weren't the only ones waiting in the lobby to see someone. I seldom need to deal with a NFCU employee. When I do it is a quick transaction. Shorthanded? When the place is super busy management needs to get off the phone and help out. Management did reach out after I complained through their website. I'm shopping for another credit union. This branch used to be awesome. They just don't have a sense of excellence anymore.

    With covid this place only got worse with customer service, I have better help with people over the phone and ACTUALLY doing there job. Will probably not be coming back, wish I could put specific names but don’t remember them. If you can avoid coming this only THIS location you should. This isn’t every employee here but the few bad Interactions I’ve had with SOME makes it hard to want to return when they’re always running the front desk..... . .

    Covid has made the world a mess, I understand. But I called ahead to confirm that I could get a replacement debit card in the drive thru line. I have a newborn and toddler and can’t just go in to places. I drove 25 miles and waited 30 minutes in the drive thru line to be told that I couldn’t get a card. With very little sympathy from the teller.

    Poor customer service from Ms Wanina. I tried to get a new account and she did nothing. I already did my application online but she was inexperienced. Do NOT GO TO HER FOR HELP. UNHELPFUL.

    Worst bank possible for the hero’s that served our company! Pathetic only 2 locations which are very far!! No ATMs anywhere and the Drive up ATM is always messed up! The online and mobile banking always has problems you always have to call. They hold money for weeks! When you use a new check this bank needs to be closed

    I’ve been banking with this bank for quite sometime but recently I’ve notice I am basically a nobody to this bank. I have my auto loan, credit card, and personal loan with them yet when I try cashing my work check they always put a two business day hold. There’s times I have to just go pay fees elsewhere to just cash it out. Very inconvenient and not liking this bank, plus I have to drive across town just to come to this bank.

    Boy this branch has really gone to the dirt now that John is not the manager there. I’ve always praised Navy Federal and NFCU associates for being the best in the banking industry. These 2 staff members in this branch rank right up there with Wells Fargo staff. I will close my accounts and take my business elsewhere. When your own bank of 14 years denies you financial consultation on a refinance when you have a mortgage with them, Both of which are through VA programs, there is a problem. Dirty business if you ask me. Thank you Rhonda, and even more of a special thanks to your coworker, for shedding light on the fact that Navy Federal now employs from the bottom of the barrel and doesn’t care if NFCU gets my business or not. Unsat
