As someone who worked at Navy Federal for three years, I know NFCU traditionally values member service. However, the employees at this branch nearly cost me my future home when they refused to issue a cashier's check to my father while I was overseas. I arranged for him to pick up the check so he could deposit it as a down payment, and they turned him away without even checking my account for the notes with the instructions I left for them. Ultimately, the errors were corrected by the staff at the call center, and I can sincerely recommend them and every other Navy Fed personnel I have ever interacted with. Navy Federal usually has high standards! It's just that the folks at this particular branch do not meet those standards. If you have a transaction that really matters to you, do yourself a favor and call member service or visit any other branch to get the help you need.

Awesome Navy Fed branch. Everyone has been super helpful whenever I've been in there. They can answer any questions you have and they're very efficient.

I have only visited this branch once, but the lone visit went exceptionally well. It was not very busy, only four people ahead of me in line. I was only there for a replacement red card so maybe that is why I was served quickly? Branch enforcement of social distancing was reassuring. An employee at the door asked for my phone number and reason for my visit, then advised I would receive a call when it is my turn; call received within a couple minutes. Danny was friendly, professional, and fast. I was out in less than three minutes.

I rushed there before they closed in order to do a withdrawal. Called the store which automatically connected me to customer service and customer service proceeded to speaking with the store directly. We were told that as long as we got there before closing, then we could make a withdrawal. We got there right before they closed and they all but closed the door in our face. Even after explaining that customer service spoke to someone directly in the branch, they were still unwilling to help. I’ve worked for a bank several years and this is not how to treat your customers. I’m frustrated and disappointed in this location.

Went to cash a cashiers check after my bank declined to cash it (said it looked like a duplicate, which it totally does). They said I need 2 picture ID’s, as if most people just happen to carry that all the time. After talking them into allowing me to use my Driver License & credit card like most places, they then put me on a waiting list (along with a parking lot full of their customers) saying it’s about 30 minute wait. Why on earth do people bank here?

Can’t even call your local branch… had to call the National number and wait for 30 minutes what should have taken 30 seconds to ask about availability for a transactional service.

I am pretty upset at the fact that I deposited a check from the federal government that is taking six business days to post into my account. I personally went into the bank myself. Instead of going to the atm to deposit or using my phone to deposit, to prevent waiting as long as I have to have access to my funds. What ever happened to two to three business days? I would have found a place to just cash the check as cash if I knew navy federal was going to make me wait a week to get my money.

There staff is super charismatic. When me and my mom visited, after they helped us, we sat on the lobby and after being on our phones for 15 minutes (trying to figure out where to go for our next errand), two of the staff made sure we were occupied and that we weren’t being ignored. In other words, if we needed help.

This location only - Great service when you can get it. Wait times for simple transactions are rediculously long - Over 20 minutes with 7 people in front of you and 3 transaction windows open. If you need a notary from this branch, you might as well pay $5 elsewhere unless you want to waste 1 hour of your time waiting with no line ahead of you. I don't know why the only Notary would be someone that is tied up for a long period of time.

Bottom line: Go somewhere else if you can. DO NOT deposit money at the ATM. After going into the bank and waiting inline for an hour to contest the fact we deposited more money than our receipt said we were told by staff that instances like this are common. We have to wait until the ATM audit is performed and see if an imbalance is identified before we MIGHT get our money back. How many others have used the ATM to deposit funds and have not noticed their money is being "lost"? How is it the employees know this is a regular occurrence but nothing has been done mechanically to fix the issue or signs providing warnings to the customers?
