Mountain America Credit Union W 3500 S, Magna

If comparing to other credit unions in Utah, MACU is the least professional, non consistent and slow. Their rules for auto loan will differ from one location to the other. Out of all credit unions that my business cooperates with I only have hard time with Mountain America. From now on I'll recommend my customers and partners to stay away from that credit union.

Horrible place do not recommend their ATMs take your money and you have to go all the way to the bank to get your money back honestly just switch banks

THIS LOCATION IN MAGNA IS BUSY… it’s sad to notice that the hours are being taken away for Saturdays. So many have only a Saturday to do things. With the location on 5600 W being the one for the community to turn to…. ITS WAY TO BUSY NO MATTER MOST TIMES OF THE DAY! I have to say…. KEEP MAGNA OPEN ON SATURDAYS… magna needs it. I could see maybe by chance a lose of acct holders. THE CREW AT MAGNA ARE GREAT AND THE SERVICE IS NEEDED ON SATURDAYS!

I never thought opening a bank account could be such a pleasant experience! Camille definitely went above and beyond, proving that mountain America doesn’t see me as just another account and dollar sign. I was shocked when she stared asking about my future goals and helped me pick personalized checking/saving account options that will help me achieve those long and short term goals based off of my credit report. I will definitely continue to bank here for as long as I live near one.

I've worked with Camille and always treats us with lots of professinalism, she explains everything very good. She is great with costumer service, I also have sent family members to her and ahe has helped them or guided them with loans.

My visit was pleasant! The teller was easy to work with! I had several transactions including Share branching! The employees all took safety precautions by wearing face masks and gloves.

The management at this location sucks. Managers Janna and Rachael never there to help out, you will be waiting in line for long periods of times since they have 1 or 2 poor little tellers running around doing everything. This last time I went in i asked a teller to speak to the branch manager for a split second and she never showed. Said she was coming from the back but took about 20 minutes to get her out, apparently she “didn’t look at her Skype messages” so I told the teller I would be back later but I will never go to this location again. Unless they find new branch managers! :)

MACU froze my card for suspected fraudulent activity. Awesome! Yet when they do that they also freeze your card. I had a 1/2 hour lunch break and no lunch. I only had my card which wouldn't work. Ug! So I ran over to the MACU on the corner & I thought I'd be in there for at least 20 minutes. Nope. Andrea was the lady at the counter, she immediately pulled up my account, had me select a new card & took the old card to shred it and was back out with my new card w/in less than 10 minutes! Super fast and easy service, and I was still able to get some lunch.

walked whent straight to a tell windo. the teller was helpful and knowledgeable. was out in no time.

I’m not a member of MACU, but I have a shared branch with another institution out of state. I frequently use this branch to make deposits, transfers, etc. Even though I’m not a member, they are very helpful, friendly, and prompt. I really appreciate their helpfulness and customer service. It’s top notch!
