    I don’t normal post bad reviews but thought I would to see if anyone cares. I went in today to open a new account and everyone at the desk was “busy” on their personal devices. Only one women at the desk was helping people and the rest of the staff didn’t care to help. I was referred by family saying Mountain America was a great bank but I guess this branch doesn’t care enough. Service needs fixing.

    I have used this credit union for about 10 years now and they have been awesome. I've had two car loans through them, my direct deposit, and my credit card and they have been great with all of those and are always willing to work with me if I have ever needed help. I just bought a new truck and the Dealership I worked with took over two weeks to get my car loan paid off and it hit my credit and hit my Loan with Late fees and extra daily Interest. I spoke with Elandra at this Branch and she got it taken care of and my fees waived by the time the check from the dealership arrived. Highly reccomend this Credit Union but especially working with this branch and Elandra.

    All I need is to talk to a loan officer on the phone for 2 minutes to ask an important but simple question, and no one ever answers the phone. Looks like I have to drive 15 minutes to talk to someone for 2 minutes.

    Very unprofessional. I can't even get a replacement debit card. I went into the branch and waited for an hour, just to be told that their machine was down. I asked for my card to be sent to my home, so I didn't have to come in again. A week later, nothing! No one ever answers the phone at the Saratoga Springs branch, and I don't feel like waiting on hold for an hour for the call center to pick up. What a joke!!

    They are constantly closing a few minutes early which makes it impossible to get there right after work. Even the drive thru lane is usually closed 5 minutes or more early and they will just stare at you like you’re crazy if you get there before 6 but they’ve already decided to be done for the day.

    Horrible experience. Normally, I love MACU, but was sadly disappointed at my local branch. Normandy at your Saratoga Springs location is extremely unprofessional, will not problem solve or frankly even listen to a problem, and is overall just very rude. I think she would benefit from some extra training in professionalism and critical thinking/problem solving. When presented with a banking problem, it would be helpful to speak and work with a teller who will not flippantly disregard the problem, insert their own interpretation of the problem INCORRECTLY, and dismiss you personally. Thanks.

    My last visit actually going in the credit union was very disappointing. No one had masks on and I am an at-risk senior. So I turned around and left, upset I could not access my safe-deposit box. However I was also going to discuss a loan so I went online and applied. The nicest person, Brett Velinga, answered my many questions and gave me advice, which I had asked for. He got me started on a loan immediately and zipped me through the process. I text him questions along the way from my daughter who was considering a refinance of her own but her circumstances are different. He got back to me right away with all the info we needed. He has kept me informed of where we're at and I would recommend him for anyone requiring his services. Terra S.

    I have been with Mountain America for over 6 years now. My one and only financial institution and will always be. I have requested and paid out many loans and with my credit and history I have been approved and cashed out that same day. This has not been my experience at this branch. I recently moved to Utah county from Salt Lake county and I couldn't miss my Murray branch more. We applied for a consolidation loan for my husband to which it was approved but didn't hear back from our loan officer for days almost a week. The only reason why I ever heard any updates were because I emailed and visited him personally at the location until finally I was able to sign the documents and send the checks out. Even though he told me he would email me the loan documents so we can get the checks out as soon as possible. Needless to say, that didn't happen. Now that the checks have been mailed, one has not been received and I have grown tired of having to call, email and visit this loan officer to make sure he does his job. What makes me even more upset is that he assured us that the checks would be received before the due date. Well, it's been a week past due now. Maybe I've just been spoiled with Mountain America in the past but this is not the customer service that has kept me a faithful member. We will definitely be moving our future loans to another branch.
